There are troglodytes in every country, and in every political party. ffs.

Am I reading this wrong or are there 2 plants that are now leaking?! (Been working in the Library for 10 hours so words are now just a blur)

I've been completely out of touch for the last 72 hours. Did any of this [directly] affect Tokyo?

Yea, but American conservatives are the loudest and the most stupid and are what make the rest of the world fucking hate us.

Posted by shaw on Mar-12-2011 20:01:

Let's make this about your political views. Got it, everybody?

i searched for a few of those people on facebook and only found a handful that had those comments. i'm assuming either others had removed them, or you had to be their friend to view all of their comments. on thing however i did find , is that about 90% of the people i looked up were all on farmville, farmtown, or some other stupid ass game.

Who gives a fuck? Witch-hunts are absurd wastes of time and energy. Go team!

Really sad to see a lot of this. I've always wanted to go, and I can't imagine it will be at all the same for a long time. I wish I'd gotten around to it sooner.

Japan. Swept away or not, it's going to change the whole country, at least for the immediate future, and I'm sure there are some places I would have been to that were hit. I'm not part of the weaboo elite, though, so maybe I'm wrong (unless that reactor mentioned does take a turn for the worse). I hope so.

Bunch of useless c*nts.

I am reeling from the past 48 hours. Still trying to make contact with people in those towns that were really badly hit, and still nothing

They'll be fine, the rest of the country, even Tokyo soon, is at normal levels of productivity still. The country won't up and stop over this. Its a tragedy, but the Japanese know what needs to be done, and that is to continue and work hard.

I really hope you are able to make contact. Internet seems to be working well still, at least out of the effected areas. My brother can still receive emails on his phone too, and he is on Softbank.

A big plus one on that, brother.

It certainly seems so, but there aren't any specifics, that I can find anyway.

A 'small leak' could mean 'fuck, it's going into meltdown' to 'it's a small leak, but we can and are resolving the issue safely'....... but the latter wouldn't make good news, would it?

I can't find any other information on the issue, if anyone knows anymore on it, post away...

I'm willing to be proven wrong, but I finding this extremely difficult to believe, purely due to Newton's Third Law of motion.

There was only a brief mention of this on CNN.
I wouldn't be surprised if it escalates into a Chernobyl.

It might be changed to 160

Also I read if any, and all radiation does get dispersed, it would be all over the Pacific. They didn't say in which direction :/

Posted by Jackson on Mar-12-2011 21:29:

Those 160 must be firefighters/engineers working in the plant...
