Because you don't chant MVP for the MVP of the team, you chant it when the guy is a legitimate MVP candidate for the league. I dunno, he has a point. That always gets on my nerves when fans chant "overrated", "bullshit" or "MVP" especially when neither chant is accurate or appropriate. I agree that it can be very tacky.

So? Kobe is still one of the best players in the game right now, and the chants for him are still MVP worthy. To expect all fans around the league to not cheer for their own players because only Rose, D12 and Lebron deserve it is beyond stupid.
