1. I know when playing White the King Pawn is best by tested but I wonder how many of you all use the Queen Pawn opening?

2. If you do use a Gambit, which one is your favorite? I personally like the Danish but It's very easy to defend against. I also like the Queens Gambit if its accepted.

3. When playing black , which is your.favorite defence? I haven't mastered the Sicilian nut people swear by it. My personal favorite is the Caro-Kann. I heard the Philidor's defense is great but haven't studied it yet.

Well then, what are your answers?

Yeah, you definitely need to turn off auto correct, or get a new phone. Lol.

Regarding your post about openings -

Typically, as white, I play the kings pawn openings. I'm fond of the Ruy Lopez since it was the first I ever learned.
With the black pieces I really enjoy the different pirc openings - the najdorf/sicilian dragon openings are fun and I play the attack any chance I have (white or black) as it leads to really enjoyable games for me, somehow.

I hear ya. Actually I want to get my PC fixed instead of a new phone but by no means am I'm blaming the phone for all misspelled words. If I type slow the less mistakes I make but it takes forever to make a post. But if I'm typing in a rant, well... you seen the .results.

Since I'm speaking with you briefly... What happened to IGK and Domesticated?

Details please...

That Sicilian Dragon involves fianchetto-ing the Bishops, am I right?
Is the fianchetto-ed Bishop on the Kings side or Queens side?

I think you click on the persons name and it links you to their profile where I think the challenge option is there.

Yeah that second game you destroyed me... I didn't.see it happening until mate in one. lol!!

I'll send you a challenge or actually you.challenge me so you can pick the color you want. I think I've played white every game with you but I'm not sure though because I honestly play like 20 to 40 people at a time. I like it.better because the games are slow.so with all the people makes for more action.

It's just when you move the pawn above the horse/knight one square up and then on the next move you slide your bishop in that slot so it looks diagonal down the board.

To those few people from TA that I play regularly or others that would like to challenge me, I talked with the people of Chess.com and originally the handle for the site Desiderata was taken and the name I accidently choose Evom was supposed to be EvokeDesiderata but the k and m are right next to each other on my smart phone.
Well, to the point, I wrote them a message and gave them three chooses of names with an explanation of how Evom came to be and from my knowledge the original user of Desiderata is no longer and active member or perhaps I made a mistake originally when I signed up but I know it's the first explanation since it told me repeatedly that Desiderata was already in use but I don't want to put words in the sites name.

Now, I write this for two reasons. First, now you will know my new name so if I challenge you, you will know it's me and also if you want to challenge me. When name is changed your record of wins and losses and current games all remain the same, I just didn't want confusion. Second reason I wrote this is if you want to change your name as well and can't find the section to do so, I can help you. You can only do this once and only once.
Rematches I will issue when I'm done with the Cochrane Gambit Tournament is over.

I have no knowledge of this gambit and didn't study it just to see how well, I could do and so far each game is misery no matter if I am playing White or Black but then again my group I'm the range is 1920 to 1660 to 1558 to 1446 and me being the lowest of the group at a weak 1308. Fun fun FUN
