But serious: This is a discussion forum, so expression your opinion might result in bashing some DJ's. But never without a reason!!!

DJ's live a hard life, so they deserve some respect. This doesnt mean we cannot judge them for how they perform.

thats just what i like personalley....i love it all...each DJ/DJs give me what i want...i have DJs for my hard stuff, techno, trance etc etc etc...

they all play shit tracks and they all mess up once and awhile..they are human and make mistakes...they also play the same tracks again and again...but aslong as i am happy then i will keep listening...

thats how i feel man...i mean u gotta express your emotions. thats why we discuss and dabate about things.

Ya, those are the positives...but how about this? You screw up once...all of the sudden everyone criticizes you, people say you're shit...just cause of one fuck up.

two, you travel a lot...thats awesome on one had...but, you also have little time to spend time with your friends and those close to you.

three, it can be very stressful. This relates to the first point...you have to be very consistent in your quality if you wanna continue impressing people. Also...finding your own style. You can be like Gielen and play all the new anthems, or you can be like PvD, or AvB and expand your horizons and find your own style.

Also the mixing itself can be hard...a DJ just doesn't pop in CD's and let the computer do the mixing.

Tiesto does not suck because you don't like him. If you don't like what he plays anymore or the way he plays it, then move on to another dj. I saw him @ area2 in Boston and thought he was good. He played songs I heard before, but thats why I went to see him. I wanted to hear them live instead of on a cd or mp3. So what if he's not he same anymore, times change, dj's change, music changes, get over it. Saw Digweed and Cox also. I never heard Cox live before, he really kicked ass. The music was bangin and I danced my ass off. Am I allowed to mention cox in a trance forum..lol

you can not expect him as a artist to try new things.. fuck give the guy some credit he was hands down the god of trance back in the day and still plays wicked shit.. things change he is trying to find some new areas, let him explore and see what happens, but in the end i think you all know tiesto will always be a trance dj at heart

and if you say he has gone completely progressive then you have no idea what progressive is

Well I hope someone records Tiesto @ Creamfields this evening because I am curious as to what tunes he will play

After reading all those threads about Tiesto sucked there and there I was really worried, but when I saw Tiesto spinning last weekend in Miami@Space my worries disapeared. His spun was awesome and flawless and I couldn't stop dance. That's my opinion, true is that he "experiments" lately a bit. Oakey goes to hip hop and breaks, Tiesto to pop...we'll see how it'll end.

Long live the TRANCE !

He does suck indeed...playing all those girlie sets, stuck with his owl record bag, he is utter wank now, used to be good a few years ago.
