Yes I do. Both of my parents are Psychologists and I've always been interested in what they do. Philosophy is just an interest I've always had. The field I work in isn't really related to either degree, but I consider them valuable nonetheless.

For the record, I don't really feel the need to defend L4C. Well I do, but there's not really any point since he knows what he's doing and dealing with the flack only seems to amuse him. Much like your situation really.
But I've found these topics particularly cringe worthy. I don't know why people are so eager to attack his character, when all he ever does is goof around. All his boasting posts are in drowned in satire, even if he does show the odd hint of narcissism he is at least able to relativize. And more importantly he doesn't spend his time helplessly trying to bring others down. Attacking him for such trivialities shows that you're either stuck in some small town mentality were everyone is stuck in obligatorily beaming humbleness, and everyone who dares to show signs of blossoming above the mowing field is sneered at. Or you're just a little too glad to have found a stick to beat the big dog with.

It's really not that hard to have a normal discussion on the internet, all you do is read the post and respond to it's actual content, rather then the guy who posted it.

Back to psychology. What i don't get is that if I were this compulsive liar you seem to be convinced of, from a psychologists perspective, would you not find that interesting.
