My parents have spent very little on me past childhood, especially compared to my younger brother. Oh, he just recently got a job I guess... Stocking shelves at a grocery store part time, so he still has time for his band that my dad has funded two professionally produced albums for.

So excuse me if I feel like that if I am taking money from my parents I should be living the most frugal, boring life possible. I am not out to disrespect my parents generosity like my brother. On the other hand maybe I should, because when I approached my dad about maybe going back to school he seemed miffed that I'd expect him to help pay my way, even though I've rarely asked him to do that, and he acts like he has supported me my entire 20s, when really he has supported me for just over a year in the last 7 and he doesn't ever complain about my brother and his spending.

this thread was fun, but i'm going to hit up an episode of the walking dead season 3 before my gig. the irony of this is that this thread is rife with at least one walking dead.

Did you not read the paragraph above? My brother goes through $2500+ a month of my dads money. I ask for between $500 and $750 a month, to pay for health insurance (240$), my cellphone ($100), some misc bills of about another $100, and then groceries (I live with my mom and help out there) and the utility bill (I pay for that since I use a lot of electricity) with whats left over.
