Teenagers of all stripes pull that gangster shit and try to look intimidating while they walk around in public. It's equally disturbing, whether they are black, white, hispanic, brown, asian, whatever. Still not a legitimate reason to stalk and harass them, ready to shoot them if they react aggressively when confronted. Like, no shit they're going to defend themselves from some creepy stranger following them around in his car.

Zimmerman supporters seem to be mad they can't be creepin looking for some booty in their cars now with out being suspected as murderers and not just your average, casual upstanding rapist.

Are there any pictures of Martin's body out there? Did he have any kind of wounds other than the gunshot? That would seem to be important considering Zimmerman had significant wounds on his face and head if Martin had none. That would support the self-defense argument.

I have no problem with the verdict. With all of the evidence considered, it was pretty clear cut self-defense. What I have a problem with is people painting Zimmerman as some Klansman who was chasing little baby innocent Trayvon with gun drawn looking to execute him in cold blood for darkening up his clean streets.

The whole race debate at this point is just silly.

The problems, and IMO, complete failure of the case (or should I say prosecution) are two things:

1, Had Zimmerman stayed in the car, as directly and specifically instructed by the police, there would never have been a physical altercation and Martin would be alive.

2, Had Zimmerman, not brought his gun with him, or even out of the car, Martin would be alive.


Zimmerman, by his own admission, stated that Martin was not engaged in a crime of any sort so despite all the other bullshit everyone has talked about ad nauseum which we'll never know for sure, these two are immovable, cast iron facts, and I cannot fathom how Manslaughter did not apply in this case.

had trayvon stayed inside the house, he'd be alive. anyone can play that game.

Maybe because they tried for Murder 2 and wasted a lot of time with that by slandering Zimmerman's image instead of seeking Manslaughter from the get go.

I'm surprised they didn't have at least a couple black jurors.
