This isn't the set.
Sorry, it was 2000 at the Commodore.
I wasn't really happy with his 2001, 2002 sets in Vancouver.
If you had heard his 2000 set, you wouldn't have even thought anything of this set...
His 2000 set at the Commodore should've been made into Magik 7 'cause it was fucking amazing. It beats the crap outa Magik 7 in LA.

But in the set you're talking about there was some kinda abmient track - I think it's the one you're referring to.
It sounds a bit like a symphony.
He started motioning his hands like he was an orchestrator.
Wish I could get the entire tracklisting to this.
Most of those tracks are the ones that I was able to ID
But a 2000 track listing would be gold!

My prediction is that he will play a few tracks off his global cd,,, like For An Angel,,, Another Way,,, Words,,, and probably a few others. I excpect to hear a lot of up front/ unreleased tunes,,, and as long as he plays Only You and Marco V- I Feel You (PvD remix) I will be the happiest person there.

Speaking of which... I think I'm going to make a nice sign that says Marco V- I Feel You (Paul van Dyk remix). I have to hear that tune on a big stereo

nor do they know what time the event is finishing

I don't get off work until 12 - I would hate
it if PVD showed up at 11 - meaning I miss
an hour of the show.

If I knew what time he showed up at
I could make arrangements for someone else
To cover my shift (I.e. if he was showing up
before 12.)

Sweet was where it was at. The had the best talent. I miss those guys.

Every dj show i have been to there(besides sundays) have had that format!

since alcohol will be served till 2 and the show is sold out already, the commodore would lose alot of bar sales if they kicked us out early! : )

funny shiet, i actually did that last December when he came to Tokyo... the bass line on that song is soo cool sounding...

that set in December, here's how it went... he spun off of Bedrock DJ, DJ 19... so basically, PVD started off aroun 135bpm... he played straight progressive stuff for about 6-7 songs until he got up to his normal speed, first time i ever heard him do that, hella cool though... then he started throwin down all his techno shiet for another 2 hours... double encore, one was downtempo followed by another techno song... before the encore, he ended with 4 of his cuts in order: "Only You", "Another Way", "We Are Alive", "For An Angel"... during his set, he played two mixes of "Only You" and "For An Angel"... he played some of his other songs too throughout the set...

Yep... I picked this up as soon as it came out

The parties @ Gatecrasher and Ibiza looked the best IMO. Actually,,, all of the parties looked amazing!!! Also did you notice that everytime it shows PvD spinning a record- it's always a white lable
