Ya it's about 30in tall which does seem a bit low ... I just got it a few days ago and its alot better than the table I was using ... which was way too flexible.

theese pics are a bit old....I've moved the stand and bought myself new headphones coz the sony's broke (my new ones are sennheiser HD-25)

yeah i post on di.fm...i got my dex about 3 months ago...
i did spin on the same night as talla but not at the same club (i'm not exactly ready for nyc yet!). I've had a few sets so far, yes partly due to the fact i'm a "novelty" b/c i'm a girl dj. but i also get along real well w/ the people at my local nightclub, so that helps.

heheh that's not all my vinyl! lol
i have like 90 now. and growing...till my $ runs out...


one more thing...i would be a rather strange guy if i chose dknylady as my user name, wouldn't i? lol

well, there is a Christine-Club here, and it's a guy. There is also a DJ Jade, and a DJ Dawn, i thought they were both girls cuz i have know girls named Jade and Dawn.

eh, don't worry about getting your g/fs to mix, if they don't know how to dj, they will be even more impressed by your mixing skills. although, if you make them try to beatmatch for a while, they will understand (maybe) what you're doing and be even more impressed...hehe
me, b/c i'm a dj, i'm not so impressed by the fact a guy is a dj, instead, i get all excited and want to talk to him all night about dj stuff (there's not too many djs from around where i live, especially trance). but now i think that i'm considering dating only dj's, just because they will understand that dj'ing and music is the most important thing in my life, and i could babble to them about equipment and stuff and they would understand!

oh, and i am currently working on a mix, i will let you know when i'm done. i'll add you to my buddy list or something. thanks!

yea i definitly would like a girlfriend who can talk to me about dj stuff. she knows alot about things beucase i tell her stuff so i guess she theoretically knows how to do it...its just a matter of getting her on the decks. one of my good friends is teaching his girl how to mix so im trying to teach mine to compete lol... but id rather have a girl to talk to than someone who is just impressed... beucas ethe impression is just imporession out of ignorance : P i guess ill just see about getting her on the decks.

Me owns a 275 also.......I must say, its a good mixer to start on.....have tried to teach some of my friends on the mixer. They get the hang of it but they just can't seem to speed or slow the song down.....

Imagine having a girlfriend who is better than you behind the decks. I dont think i could handle that
