*slaps forehead*

Yes Antwerp is a nice place, but its in Belgium. If you try to find Antwerp in Holland you'll be about 200km off.

theres a place that does killer icecream, can't remember what its called or what street its on, but if you leave GroteMarkt and head straight across the main street you'll go down a pedestrian street, its the one with the big icecream cone outside. I think thats the one, either that one or theres another one on the same street. Either way, top icecream/gelati.

Also, don't expect to spend much time there, its a days worth, if that. You can do Brussels, Antwerp, Brugge and Gent in a day each, probably half a day for antwerp and Gent each. Belgiums piss easy to get around on the train, you can easily do daytrips to other cities (thats what I'd suggest rather than moving city each day). Make sure to go to Brugge/Bruges, i loved that place, favourite place in Belgium easily. Hot chips (Frijtes) in the main square with Samurai sauce = massive fucking win. Theres a crazy good icecream place in Brugge too, better than the Antwerp place, a littlehard to find but when you get close you can hear the music. Its probably worth taking two days for Brugge and relaxing a bit there, I finished y trip there and I couldn't have wished for a better place to relax and reflect on my trip before coming home.

ya got me confused and worried now... what do u mean? antwerp is in belgium? antwerp in holland is where the 2 sensations are.... LMAO ya got me questioning whats going on now... NOT A GOOD IDEA LOL!!!

ANTWERP IS IN BELGIUM

Clear enough for you?

Consult a map. You'll find one in an atlas.
Look at Wikipedia.
Look anywhere.
Crap, even look at the Sensation website where is says ANTWERP - BELGIUM.
Sometimes it pays to know where you're going.

And regarding something you've written in another thread, Dance Valley is in July, not April. Its held near Amsterdam. Thats Amsterdam in Holland, not Albania.

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-25-2008 13:23:

im getting confused because i have 2 tickets.... one sais... Friday 25th April Sensation black Sportpaleis antwerp and the other sais Saturday 26th April Sensation white Sportpaleis antwerp...... ........ ..... n yeah i did a search to see where im goin to be and it came up with Holland!

i meant that armin only is in april, cant remember off the top of my head when Dance vally is smarty :P lol

so im taking it theres another city called antwerp in belgium?

im confused!

Posted by narcism on Feb-25-2008 13:33:

mark- sensation white now travels all over europe, so seems like u infact have got tickets to the one in belgium...

the one in holland is always held in amsterdam (usually in july) and is at the stadium that ajax play at

I've had more successful conversations with chocolate bars, I really have.

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-25-2008 13:45:

call me a total idiot, its fine... but for some reason i have in my head when i was searching for Antwerp that i came up with its in holland... up north-north west corner of the country........

so now ive done a frantic run thru websites to find out if somehow i have screwed myself over or not... but ive found sites saying exactly whats on my tickets.... sportpaleis antwerp.... i cant work out where the hell i got Holland from!!!

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-25-2008 13:46:

hey hey hey im just confused... dont make me out a complete idiot

Posted by Glexx on Feb-25-2008 16:24:

Antwerp is in Belgium, no doubt
All the previous Sensations were in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium and so is this one

Posted by BZRK on Feb-25-2008 16:56:

Sensation is held in more than one country. It originally began in Holland, in Amsterdam. And that one still is the biggest edition of them all I think.

Your tickets are for Sensation in Antwerp, which is in Belgium.
Amsterdam has a new stage and new show every year. They "recycle" it and use it the next year in Belgium. Always has been like that.

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-26-2008 00:45:

all sorted, dont know where i got holland from in the 1st place... and was just confusing cos i couldnt find Holland on a map..... when i look at a map of The Netherlands.... nothing came up with Holland.... so is Holland a province of The Netherlands or something like that? like Melbourne is in Victoria.... wich is a province of Australia??? same deal???

Posted by xmike on Feb-26-2008 01:28:

holland is just another name for the netherlands

its the same place. its like America and the USA

although the usa are ignorant assholes, and basically and stole the name of the entire two continents that its resting in between.

Posted by JamesR on Feb-26-2008 05:14:

I posted this on ITM as well, so if you read it on there - that's why it seems familiar

What are some good dance music festivals on around mid July - end August? (any where in Europe really, except I wont be heading to the UK) I was meant to be going to Dance Valley but I couldn't get that exact date off of work. I've had to push my whole trip forward one week, which means I miss any chance of getting to Sensation Black, DV or Exit. So far I'm going to the Sunrise Festival in Poland on the 25th July.

So, what else is there? I'm pretty open about (dance) music styles.

BTW - I have searched a fair bit, but I havn't found anything that really interests me - and I'd prefer to hear it from people on here who've actually been

Posted by narcism on Feb-26-2008 05:20:

i have a suspicion that "staying at my computer playen games" will still leave me with a much broader understanding/knowledge of the world, enjoy holland, oh i mean the netherlands.

actually, that's not quite true. holland is merely a part of the netherlands, a state if you will.
