Sweets...I watched every game...and there was hardly any diving or playing dirty so you can't say that it happened. Italy knew it had to play it fair this time bc Italian's weren't liking the diver label.

No, Portugal got stupid and got overly aggressive against a lone attacker in the box and fouled him. It was a foul...plain and simple. I love how Portugese people will complain about the call, but thats why you never attack from behind or slide tackle a striker in the box. He clipped him and let off a careless foul, and thats what happens, whether he dives or not.

overly aggressive? They hardly touched him! I'm not saying the penalty shouldn't count, but there was indeed diving involved.

Italy was diving all over the place, they literally had their hands out infront of their heads.
