Yeah, but its still stupid to stoop to that level, at the last game of your career at the World Cup finals. As the captain of your team, you should hold yourself back from doing things like that.

Yes, he's an idiot. When you're been around as long as he has, you have to learn to not let petty words from one individual break your composure. He disgraced his nation, and destroyed the hopes of millions by losing his cool.

Well i for one am completely behind him. yes! unfortunately, shit all is what he should have done. he's been around long enough to know that a headbutt like that would get him thrown off. at least a tackle that would have got him only a yellow would have been just as effective. (i'm not sure if he had any prior yellows)

Makes no difference.

First off: He's not going to tackle someone for something they said 15 minutes ago (because it would probably take that long for him to have the opportunity to tackle).

Second: Tackle huh? He would have to make sure he made a nice proper "yellow card" tackle, because you do know that certain tackles get you a red card anyway, right?

Third: I hate to sound like a pessimist but France would've lost regardless lol And he would have gotten no joy out of seeing that little rat get the medal.
