Yeah, these are the most colourful birds we get around here. They're actually extremely common, too, but I've never been able to get a proper 'portrait' style pic of one until today, with all the feather detail like this.

It might actually be the sharpest bird pic I've ever taken God damn prime lenses.

Thanks, my Mom has tons of talking birds and it looks like similar to some of her rare Finches (they only sing).

We just resuced a Green Wing McCaw from a tree. Apparently the owner likes to free fly his birds whitch is dangerous for the bird in our eyes but he has his own reasons for doing it. After about 5 minutes driving around we found the owner creeping through the streets and we gave him his bird and made a new friend.

Actually, aside from cropping the image to frame the bird, there is minimal Photoshop work with this one. I don't really process my shots that much.
