i wish i could show u more how much i really enjoyed your documentary, i know (as an artist myself) how setisfiing it is to get the right feedback, but u really deserve it! we should make this sticky somewhere else, cauze good stuff like this just gets lost to fast in chillout room!

yo Cyrus.. I d/loded this 2 days ago.. and have been watching it ever since. The feeling that you bring through the video is just outstanding and unique. Exactly to what I was looking for and waiting to experience. I have yet to spend a time like this with friends. Soon enough I will though.. it was just great man, awesome documentary covering every aspect of what Ibiza is about in its season. Once again.. thanx for making this available and for the effort . YOu even played one of my all timers.. JOSE AMNESIA - THE ETERNAL!

Your film was just AMAZING!! I have never been to Ibiza, but your film really gives me an idea of what to expect. I really liked the way you set the mood in each of your scenes. It was just awesome. You had a great soundtrack to top it off as well. I remember awile back, E! (not sure if they show E! in Canada) did a segment on Ibiza. Theirs doesn't even compare to yours! Good luck with your career

Dude, this short film kicks butt. I love it and love how it was made. It made me so emotional I almost cried.

Really really good work, even if you have fucked up political views and are a prick.

LOL.... thanks

Where have you been man? I miss arguing with you!

Yes, very very nice job!

Ever since I went to Ibiza summer of 2003, I have been trying to tell my friends about how I think its the best place on earth. I have a bunch of movie clips and pictures I took, but your film is perfect for showing my ignorant American friends here what its like!

I absolutely love the intro... nice shot of the island, then BAM Cream Amnesia.

I agree with DJ Tom on all the things you did right... and I must commend you on recording all this when you are supposed to be on vacation!

Posted by Inertia on Dec-23-2003 20:40:

Excellent, but i must criticize a few points:

a) TOO SHORT! i was left wanting a bit more...
b) the sound, i dont think reworking it to be as it should would be too hard
c) yes, this is TA, and you obviously are one, but i would of liked to see the manifestation of other genres on the island. not to mention, you could reach a larger public than the people who love trance and trance only.

i think you should make a volume 2, an hour or an hour and a half, focusing on all types of music, and possibly a little more with DJs. basically im saying, it owned, and I want MORE.

Very good docu, I've put it onto vcd. I'll show my family.

Finally after I got enough bandwith I could download this beauty!

I have to say that your work is great.
A bit more of everything would be great. For example more Dj interviews, showing more clubs, interviewing more different people,...

Keep it up man! I am hoping for another ibiza video next summer

edit: I was watching the video when I realized that the speech only came from the left channel of my headphone.

Posted by pr0craztinazn on Jan-03-2004 23:00:

i'm glad someone bumped this... that was excellent you did a very good job with the whole thing, and you can't be blamed for your editing program's issues with the audio. your soundtrack choices were both good and well timed, too. my reaction was basically

thank you for posting this so all could see it

Posted by Mystre on Jan-04-2004 00:27:

Posted by Windex_ on Jan-04-2004 03:20:

man this video is brilliant!!! I even had shivers a couple of times while watching it!

I definitely want more of it

Posted by tvmann on Jan-12-2004 22:38:

Great video, now I know what Ibiza is like! Wondering what camera you used (DV?), and did you use the internal microphone?

I notice the video looks a bit squished so the people are made narrow - maybe you converted 720x480 from the camcorder to 640x480 - that would explain it.

BTW I'm experimenting with video too, I've re-editted a Dance Valley 2003 Holland rave for fun (if anyone wants a look, PM or email me). Also I like to do music videos, check my page http://members.shaw.ca/tvmann/ and go down about half way to see my Timo Maas project.

Posted by SuckUpMySenses on Jan-15-2004 20:02:

I used the Sony DSR PD150 to shoot the documentary. And i used the internal microphone.. it picks up sound like dont believe, both loud and soft.

Holy shit that video is amazing. AMAZING job on it. Holy shit. I showed it to a couple of friends that dont know anything about Trance or club life if i may add. And they liked it. They said something like" NExt time you go clubing take me a long". REally this video is fooking good. I love you man.

Posted by Ub3rBreaker on Jan-20-2004 04:47:

Thumbs up

Great video man! I loved it! Makes me want to party it up! You captured the clubbing atmosphere of the place, and thats what i wanted to see! The interviews were great, was not bored for one second. Great job! My favority part is the last one, at amnesia, the mixing of airwave and circa forever was a great combo! Loved it! Thx for sharing this video with us. Ibiza is a def. must go.

Question

Oh yeah! I was wondering if you could tell me some of the tracks u used, i just cant seem to figured some of them

The first one u used for the openning and the one u used after after the rush comes at godskitchen. And the one u used at the manumission. But is the one at godskitchen and manumission the sdame song?
