well this is wut i had going, but im gonna have to pull out of the competition. with all my exams coming up i really dont have time to finish the mix. maybe ill just submit this for the next comp. good luck to everyone.

I'm upping mine in a few minutes here. Is it cool if it's one I made a little while ago? My RAID array crashed and I lost all of my mp3s, traktor, everything.

But IMO it's 'classy' cheese, not commercial garbage like DJ Sammy
I believe all good sets benefit from a little bit of well-placed cheese, that's why it's there. I don't really care anyway, I was just havin fun!
Edit: and for the record, most of my tracks aren't really trance I guess, they're more techno or tech-trance...I'll probably get disqualified even though the mix is definitely worth a listen
I don't think Mauro Picotto's is cheese at all, but thought it might not be trance, I've wanted to use some myself. BTW I was at the Mauro Picotto night in Vancouver a year ago, and he didn't use any of his old music, unfortunately.
I have a real trance tune from DJ Sammy in my mix.

No you didn't, Greg
tvmann...DjCommisad is right, the phrases "DJ Sammy" and "real trance" do not belong in the same sentence. Unless you used a remix?
Actually it IS a remix: DJ Sammy - Sunlight (Minimalistix remix)
There is a little bit of residual cheesiness there. Haven't heard the original.

REQUEST
When I uploaded my mix, the system crashed a few times so I had to reboot and resume the file transfer. That's why the set may have some bugs, like skipping some seconds or something like that.
If someone of the judges listened to it and notised any kind of problems with the sound or integrity of the file please tell me so I can reupload.
The exact mix lenght should be 60:11 and the size 68.8 MB.
