You forgot to mention that there was a little bit of space by the washrooms...

One odd thing I found was that in the washrooms all the unrinals were available, no line at all - but then you see a bunch of people with funny looking eyes surrounding the taps while holding empty bottles... Ohh thank you Charles, (who ever the hell that is- prolly some nasty, greedy, fat (aka Tony Sopranos) club owner), for those heavenly wells of refreshing tap water, we really shouldn't take that for granted...

Oh heaven forbid someone might complain to the authorities that they paid $20 to be crammed into a building that was completely unsafe! Nobody's CRYING, they're just tired of the same old laissez-faire attitude to things.

Sheesh... I can see why you might be slightly worried that the club could be shut down for those kinds of reasons just like some others were in the US, but it doesn't seem like Charles is too worried now does it?

Besides, they're not gonna shut the place down, not with the kind of tourism it brings in. But if people start complaining about it being unsafe, he might have to make some changes, which is exactly what people are after here.

I'm dead serious and I hope you mean that this issue and the complaining is pathetic and not my post (otherwise F U 2 j/k). Seriously, I'm not trying to get on anyone's case...just pointing out (repeatedly, yes) that the complaining is USELESS. Ferry spins an 8 hour set and some people's reviews are "I had a shitty night because it was so packed". That's soooo disappointing for me to hear...

People piss and moan about how packed it is, how they can't dance, how unsafe it is...WAAAHHHHH...cry me a freakin' river. STFU and do something about it, that's all I'm saying here. Complaining on TA after every event definitely isn't going to do shit.

So we have a forum with hundreds of members, a large # of whom go to Guv on a regular basis. If TA organized itself and sent a collective note to Charles, maybe he'd listen...if he doesn't, then you can either put up with it, you can not go, or you can go to the authorities (and get run out of town when they shut the place down one night in the middle of a party, lol).

whatever...I don't even know why I care so much that so many people complain...I guess I'm mostly disappointed that a night of Ferry was overshadowed for so many people because of the crowd. I'll guess I'll just continue to go and enjoy my nights there. Sorry for suggesting that you guys try to actually DO something about an issue that clearly bothers you quite a bit.

Are you kidding me man? What the hell for? Do you think the asshole is unaware that there's a firecode in the city to be followed? I wouldn't believe that the people who run the club ever even show up in the main room. They're probably sitting somewhere in the VIP area, sipping on their martinis, talking business, you know, whose gotta be "shanked" tomorrow, while thinking "look at these kiddies having fun down there, thats some good cash were making" etc... People who own clubs are usually involved all kinds of dirty business - drugs, brothels, wringing money etc, it's pretty stupid to think that if you "ask them nicely" they'll actually do something about it. Best thing to do would be to write a petition to the fire departament, anyone up for that..............?


Thought so. Fuck that, it's not worth the hassle anyway, the best thing to do is just never go to that place again. And good luck to yall who had an amazing night and will continue attending "nights out at the guv"! In case a fire starts sometime, and cos of the place being overcrowded this forum ends up missing a few happy faces who got stampeded, I just might be the one laughing at your funeral (knock, knock, knock)

That's where you're dead wrong. Charles is always around and walking the main room - or even outside when its cold in the winter checking up on staff or what not. While I agree it was WAY TOO OVERCROWDED last week I will give him credit for not sitting around in "VIP" as you seem to think.
