Nip this problem in the bud dude. I'd go with the face to face talk, to get the root of the problem. The longer you leave things unresolved, the worse it will become. If you guys really care about each other as much as you say, then you'll be able to work it out. If she refuses though, there's nothing you can do, just move on. you see you are crazy, but girls are even crazier. so don't worry about it, whatever is going on in your head probably isn't as complicated as whats going on in her head.
