I'm not hurting at all but then again I don't most of the time. I was feeling extremely tired all day.
Holy crap!
Well, I must say every time I visit Guvvy/KH it gets better and better. Despite the crowdedness, the pushy people, and the heat, it was still a wicked fun fantastic crazy fun night (I could go on with the adjectives). No sense on dwelling on that shit cuz it's just gonna put a downer on the whole freakin night.
Ferry was amaaaaaazing. He dropped so many awesome tracks that drove everyone crazy.
The best part of the night was taking our friend out to his first party (and what a great first party to go to). He's a complete rocker, a drummer in fact. I didn't think he'd get it, or that he'd enjoy the music (but he wanted to try it out anyway since he always hears us talking about it). But we got in and he just dove in and started dancing and had a blast. Then around half way through Ferry we're all just dancing away and he taps me on the shoulder and yells "MAN! I FINALLY GET IT!! OMG!!". Big smiles appear and the dancing continues.
Quality night indeed.
Good pics all too, by the way. I'm still waiting to find a camera I can actually take into a party w/out worrying about losing/breaking it.
And yes, I'm one of those lurky silent TAs, but I think I'm gonna start posting more often

And as far as being crowded goes, I don't mind.. However, I am a tall guy and elbows are a factor. I REALLY don't wanna have to deal with some freaked out dude with a bloody nose after he walks into my elbow while pushing through the crowd like a plow. I'm not one of those all-over the place dancers though. Wish I was but I still need some work .
Now that I can steal a few moments...let me begin. btw, let me just say that there was an absolute HUGE highlight that occurred right at the end of the night, on our way to my car...so if you're not patient enough to read the novel below, just skip to the end because I don't want anyone to miss how cool Ferry is...(not that you don't already know)...
Night started with the traditional stop off at walkindude's place...played some wicked beats on his crazy sound system to set the tone for the evening...then got to the complex at around 11ish...we had some spot holders in the line (Marty...not a TA but this guy rocks...always is prepared with the things you need most...ear plugs...Vicks inhaler...etc...etc..etc..LOL!!!)
I felt like a king when I told the lineup lady, "Fahad plus 4" and she was like, "Check"!!! DAMN, JOHN!!! This guest-list service is awesome...night was already on the up and up!!!!
We get inside and unfortunately no naked women getting painted at the KH entrance...LOL!!!...walkindude, Marty and I scope out the scene...saw the bar area and sitting area were closed off--OUR MEET-UP PLACE!!! so I was immediately worried, "How the hell am I gonna meet all those TOTAs that I've been so excited about?" Then my ears took over...
Hell Yeah, DJ Addy was spinnin it up...really nice beats to warm up the place. We go to the bar to grab our waters and the first guy we see is Cam...dude your pictures f'in ROCK...and your energy is superb...you really know how to rock those antenna thingies...you did a show for walkindude and me and I swear it looked like it was snowing little coloured balls everywhere!!! TRIPPY!!! LOL!!! BTW, I can't remember your handle in here...what is it again?
Moving along, I recognize Cuzo in his BRIGHT jersey...really stylin, dude!!! And then the floodgates open and the whole crew, almost exactly how I pictured them, show up!!!! I was looking out for my man Jem...because I was expecting to hook him up with a ride, and all I could see was beads on a wife beater...EXACTLY how I pictured him!!!
The girls were full of love; all reaching out to greet a stranger...so different from the cold atmosphere you would normally face at the Guv...thank you for that!!!!
I already did most of my shout outs before so let me continue with the night.
My focus was 110% on Ferry because he is the GOD that popped my EDM cherry last year at LoL so this was going to be a reuniting moment...so I left KH early, at like 2ish. I felt kinda bad because I really wanted to hear Seaman play that "OBSCENE...DIRTY...FILTY...IMMORAL...AWW YEAH!!!!" track because I just heard it on his "Live at Tribehouse Neuss 10th Anniversary" set from 9-5-04. I have two 1-hour files and it's the second track on the longer file...if anyone knows the title, shout it out because it's not one to miss!
I wanted to get a good spot in front of Ferry. I go over to let Vertigo know because it would simply be disrespectful for me to show up there before the guy that has Ferry as his f'in AVATAR!!!! So he tells me the crew is moving soon...I tell him I'll have some space reserved at FRONT and CENTRE!!!!!
Sure enough, it was a slimey snake pit, but like Jem says, the HEAT is so inviting!!! LOL!!! 
Sure enough, the whole crew shows up (so reliable you TOTAs) and the party really began for me...after Ferry started time stopped...
There's just something about meeting someone who is at their first rave. Jem, you said it about that Kelly person...I also was standing next to a girl who was at her first rave and she was just so excited and couldn't contain her energy...she was BEAMING with light!!!! Taking care of someone by getting them water or that finger-squeeze thing or even lending your glowsticks...each small thing means so much to a new person, to show them that these events are all about the fun and the passion...I pray to God that Jenny comes with me someday to share the moment...
It feels so good to dance and see your friends around you...for me it's all about the music, but nothing elevates my spirit more than to SHARE the moment with someone...I'm always conscious of who's around me and how they feel for some reason, so I would always look to Vertigo to smile at him and point with my glowsticks; I was doing that with Karen, Kelly, Jem, walkindude, Alex, everyone!!!! To see them smile back just keeps me going...
Bomb after bomb more muscles in my back, neck, legs, arms, were begging for nourishment but I denied them the pleasure. It was all about Ferry...nothing but. It got to the point where I was stretching every f'in 10 minutes!!!! Some of my dance moves were beginning to include stretches...LOL!!!! I guess my body was in self-defense mode!!! I kind of felt a bit gay at one point when I asked Vertigo, "Hey, is it an unwritten rule in TOTA NOT to ask another guy to give you a quick back rub?" and he paused and looked a bit puzzled...I realized the answer is YES so I went out looking for walkindude (who I've known for years so it's not that odd---LOL!!!! sorry to put you on the spot, Cale!!! PS are there any girls in the house who are willing to do that for an aching TOTA? (fully clothed, of course!!! LOL!!!) Actually all I need is a few good punches...should I ask LKD? LOL!!!!
As you've read a billion times, Ferry kept responding to us...he wouldn't stop even when he wanted to...each time he made that *heart* signal with his hands made me beg for more...he is such a class act!!!!
AND FINALLY...
THE moment that I will remember forever...
When walkindude and I are walking back to my car at the LCBO, we pass the Drink entrance, and there's a black limo with a few guys just chatting it up...one of them was Ferry. I was star-struck. walkindude, who is the eternally classy dude, notices but puts his head down and keeps walkin'....LOL!!! But me, being the blurty, loud, obnoxious guy I am, HAS to say something!!!! I was thinking, "Should I shake his hand? A quick "guy" hug with the tap on the back? A picture? An autograph? Should I keep walking? Try to make eye contact?" All these things were racing through my head...
All I did was say, "Thanks, Ferry." as I continued to walk, not even a pause! And then he turned around, made eye contact, smiled, and said,
"Thank YOU mate, cheers!"
I LOVE YOU FERRY.
P.S. I would like to thank Rachel Starr who I was listening to as I was writing this.
Predrank at a friends rooftop patio redbull and vodka for the first time and by God i think Ive found my drink lol.
Went to a really lame party a friend invited me to go to was but I couldnt miss ultra and tota partay , so me and my friend tali left early and headed to the guv got there about 1 got in about 1:30 with the music banging and familiar faces in the KH. Seamen was good, but wasnt feeling the KH so much however i thought the gwen stafani remix was preety good.
The guv MY GOD was it packed taking about 5 min to get to the smoking section outside i was never so happy to be outside Darren took some photos of us which Im dying to see. dreaded going back inside because of it but ferry was rockin and for about 5 minutes I too was rocking until some sweaty guy with his shirt off randomly hugged me groosness , did anybody see that guy with the water bottle balanced on his head the whole night was I the only one who thought that was weird 
. And rotating ur hands with glowsticks is not considered a lightshow 
Headed to the drink and harry "choo choo" romero was banging reminded me of C&C with the latin sounds had an awsome time broackin it with some of the ta's .
It was great seeing all new and familiar Ta's shout outs:vividboy,Durfei, Highroller(Graham)one of my fav people to party with, Preppie Chick(lars) so nice and sofun to dance with, Ub3rTrancer (Alex) if i get tired I look at u cause ur energy is awsome thanks for the water,Jem yes wife beaters do ROCK had a wikked time on the dance floor,Spankmeister(Darren) so glad to see you again, ANd hopefully next month I can make it to the movement, Cuzo ur a machine and thats awsome,chanoa wikked dancer, gamma(ray) nice partyin with u again,stereoprincess always a pleasure,rj always seem to be feeling the music awsome. And to anyone else who I havent mentioned it was awsome partying.
All about Good vibes and Good Music, which i heard till about this morning lol slept at about 8 pm sunday like a baby.

Today on the way to work I honestly thought to myself that I just wanted to turn back time and be back partying to FERRY!!!!! Yes...even with the GUV being pure hell....this man blew my fucking mind!!!!

Woooo, sounds like everyone had an amazing time!! I am so jealous. Would you beleive that I just sat here and read all 16 pages of what people had to say about the party?? LOL
Ah well, one thing for sure tho, is that these party reports are making me insanely excited to get back up to Toronto in the summer...I miss it! And I can't wait to get to an event to met everybody, because it seems that the TOTA's really get along and have a great time up there!! See you guys this summer!!!
Well, I've been a ta for quite some time now, and still don't really know that many of you. One of you suggested just posting more, b/c I never do! So I thought, sure, what the hell...and what better to start with then my review of Ultra Spin 7!
So I got to the KH with a huge crew, some who are fellow ta's (Nikitha, Cereal3825 and Shanny )�around 11:30, and wasn�t feeling too well. I knew that it would happen though, b/c I always get a funny feeling in my tummy for the first little while that I�m there. The music was funky though and I had my dancing shoes on, so I just danced the nerves away!
By a bit after 2 I was getting way too excited for Ferry, so I made my way over to the Guv. Boy was it busy it there! I could barely move, but I didn�t care b/c the beats were amazing. The first part of Ferry�s set I really enjoyed, though I didn�t recognize many of his songs. I was a little disappointed b/c I was so close to the front that I couldn�t see him up in the DJ booth. As the night went on though, more space freed up and I was able to move farther to see the mastermind at work. His set got better and better throughout the night, and when he dropped Punk, I went insane. It�s one of my all time favorite tracks. He played pretty much every song I wanted him too. Force of Gravity�wow! My heart almost stopped! Did you guy�s know it�s JC Chasez from N�Sync that sings in that song? I found that out awhile ago, and gained a little bit more respect for him!
Anyway, I didn�t stop dancing the entire night. I had an amazing time, and stayed right until the end�how could I have left with a set that solid? His two encores were amazing. Yet that came as no surprise to me!
Although I had to drive 4 hrs from Windsor on Sat. afternoon, and come home Sun. evening, so that I could write an exam at 8:30 Mon. morning (which I actually think I did pretty well on!), it was defiantly worth the trip!
Awesome night guys! It was great partying with you PreppieChick!! I had a blast!! Hopefully I�ll start getting to know more of you guys now that I�ve begun to come out of my shell!

I did get the pics off it though, but I gotta get it fixed. I had to shove kleenex in my ears for Grayarea and Gabriel though. I think the sound guy must be freaking deaf to not notice the treble was way to high.

DAS IST MEIN REVIEW
TOTA (F) Massif: Was it just me or was the first hour and half of the night spent just saying hi to all the TOTAs? Talk about an uber-crew of funky delight! We all could be diggin' ditches in 30 deg C weather - and still have an awesome time. ^5 Man I love friends.
The Luke Chable: impressed me with the tune selection. It would have been great to have him play for more than 60 minutes, however I enjoyed it while it lasted. I will make a point to see him again.
The Dave Seaman: I suspect I was still recovering from Mr. Chable's efforts to really appreciate Mr. Seaman's work. HOWEVER there was one uber-tune that he played that should be outlawed (the ID I will never know, but I am damn glad my ass got to shake to it).
The Ferry Corsten: his work was classic and it was awesome that he treated us to such an epic long set. Ferry is a champ, I saw his belt - so I know. Always a good show by this guy.
The Jose Nunez: WTF?!? I must have been living under a rock. 10 years of going to this venue and I had no idea such delicious haus was played in The Drink. I was fortunate enough to catch the last 45 mins of Jose's set - haus heaven! My Guv plans moving forward will ALWAYS consist of a few good hours of ass-shakin' haus via The Drink (after the 3:30 am Prada-Only rules are lifted).
The Mega Hosts: your hospitality leaves me forever indebted. THANK YOU!

i dont know, i just dont enjoy parties as much i used to a while back, maybe cause i have overdone it. anyhow it was good, but i miss the days where i can walk around a little freely without gettin walked over and drinks spilling over.
but fun regardless with friends.
