True, we didn't batter you, but we were better.

Chelsea aren't all that great. You've got immense strength in depth due to your rediculous squad, and thus you'll probably do well this year. But your strongest team is nothing special. There have been many better teams over the years.

as much as i hate to say this but i think sometimes, having a squad that gels well as a team is better than having a squad of superstars ... chelsea have some world class players in lampard, terry and makelele but the rest of the team dont look that good on paper and i think its moronho who makes the difference at the end of the day .. the guys going to be a legend no matter which club hes in charge of

Any team that is winning all the time will have a lot of confidence in themselves, and thus will have great team spirit like Chelsea have at the moment.
For all the money Abramovich has spent, Chelsea still don't have a starting 11 that is even close to being up there with the legendary teams.

Don't believe the hype.

I agree about Mourinho though, he may not be great in the transfer market, but he's a quality manager. Would love to see him at United.

you cant judge chelsea yet because we have only just begun to build our legacy. in 4 seasons time you will agree that chelsea are the greatest team in world ever.

Posted by raveed on Nov-29-2005 15:47:

west brom tomorrow ... first home game since george best's passing so should be an emotional seen

fergie probably going to field an understrength side but we have a lot of players back from injury so im sure theyl start or atleast be on the bench
