Sleep time now even though i'm wired and excited...

Thank you Tiesto..we love you!!!

ive been dying to hear suburban train and 643 every time i've seen tiesto and he never dropped it. tonight when he dropped suburban i just lost it. right after it he looked at me and i signaled 643 with my hands, he gave me a big smile, with a kinda look 'ohhhh really'. surely enough he dropped it 5,6 tracks after.

great night, much better then last 2 times i saw him. although the setup was crap, and if u were in the front the sound was shit, u could not hear mids since all the speakers were facing away from us. still a great time. ive got a lot of video footage if anyone is interested.

Love is in the air

The suburban train had the children of orpheus (sp) choire vocals in the background too (from TIC 2)...very cool

Ok seriously, I was tired Friday morning around 6:30 when a few of us went back to our hotel (I felt like I was going to vomit even after resting for 1/2 an hour). My legs wouldn't work anymore for tiesto. Edgefest is now over and I must write to the ta's I met thursday night .

I met a few of you at Viva over the past year, but it was incredible how many TA's I met. I'm just going to try to remember names and possibly nicknames (phonetically):
-Linz (partEgurl) (the girl who basically planned the night for me!)
-Chris/Ashleigh (lurkers, but their nicks are similar to their names)
-James (JumpinR?)
-Brian
-RJ (my ears are loving me right about now)
-Swamper
-B4chaos (I can't even remember your name sweety, but thanks for keeping me company most of the night!)
-Shane (Flec)
-lisaloo?
-Tyler
soooo many other TA's, of which I can't remember your names

I wasn't overly impressed with the volume level inside the club. I was wearing etymotics ER-20's, but I tried without them in for a while and it wasn't any different. There wasn't nearly enough bass, and the highs weren't very noticable.

ASIDE from that, tracks like Traffic, Dark side of the moon, 643, and adiogo for strings were incredible. I was OUTSIDE in the washroom for Suburban Train/Lethal Industry, and was thoroughly pissed off. I can't remember the last time I felt shivers down my spine like I had a few times during the night. Good night overall, and an amazing experience for my first legal party

Now I'm going to sleep for 12-13 hours.

wow, some of you are pretty critical... his set was awesome, it was nice to see him change it up a bit. I would never have guessed he'd play some of the tunes he did (King Unique-Sugar High-Unbelievable;Surburban Train of course) and it kept it unpredictable, except for ALMOST every track (no perfect silence??) off the new CD. All I gotta to say is who wasn't going fucking nuts when he mixed Traffic after Matthew Dekay-Bad????????????

Posted by Pett on Jul-02-2005 06:18:

Smiley DJ

tiesto CAN mix!

Oops, forgot to mention JOSH...bro, so awesome to meet you...what a fucking energetic force on the floor; kept me going!!

ended up taking a cab to vertigos at 2am, got there at like 2:15am. not many people there, i got massive drinks and got LOADED, then watched hilarious family guy and some crazy GIjoe cartoon thing, omg, HILARIOUS!! took a cab home at 3:50am, got home and now 4:08am, gave the cab guy $9 tip lol, good to go yo!

Posted by milos on Jul-02-2005 09:04:

the girl with the camera was takin pics for www.nightlifeinfo.com

as for tiesto.. great people and great music! fack the rest. some of those tunes really put me back in touch with my trance days (urban train!! sugar high!!) so it was sort of like a.... reunion. a definite memorable night, thanks to everyone.

Posted by Durafei on Jul-02-2005 09:17:

Note: The track that we assumed was "Eric Prydz and Steve Angello - Woz not Woz", is actually "Criss Source - Hugs 'n' Kisses". It was also played twice by Lawler 2 weeks ago at Guv and SkyBar. Great tune !
