It doesnt feel good, but it is satisfying. Sad music just brings out another emotion that we do experience, and one that we usually try to minimize in life.
Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
I went mental when I heard them play that live for their "Come with Us" tour.

darren styles & mark breeze pres. futureworld - chemical love (sharkey mix)? if so, then i completely agree. one of the saddest EDM tracks i've ever heard, even though it's technically happy hardcore.

Those aren't that sad, Ulrich seems to make pretty uplifting music. Well tome at least, unless you count some of the stuff on "A Strangely Isolated Place" especially "Gone Forever". I find his stuff a bit mellow but still uplifting and happy at the same time, other than a few tracks like "Gone Forever" or "Monday - Paracetamol" or even the title track, those are quite sad sounding. Just my personal insight..what might be happy to some might be sad to others and vice versa...

I see a lot of Ulrich's stuff as meloncoly, and could be taken either way. I guess it just depends on what mood you are already in, and if the music can play off that mood.
