Nice one, what a shit post. I didn't 'wonder why' anyone was responding or getting annoyed. I don't care what they think or say. If someone doesn't like an artist I happen to like then that's their loss, and i'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I'm bemused by the fact that some people on here can get so wound up over my opinion. Does what I say really matter that much to some of you? Christ.

Secondly, you seem to have completely missed the point of what I said. I didn't say anyone that likes Airbase is a sheep. I said there have been a few moron's here who have demonstrated that they are. I wasn't generalising this point for everyone who follows EDM.

I couldn't give 2 shiny shites about what music you like and what music you don't like - I was simply trying to explain to you that the way you worded your first post in this thread would've annoyed some people - there wasn't really any need for it - you were just trying to stir shit up.

I also think that most people on here couldn't give a shit whether you like Airbase or not, I don't think you are that important, so therefore I would have to say that it was the way you worded it...and the fact it is a thread for 'FANS OF AIRBASE'...am I getting through to you here?

Scarab - Monday AM/PM
Jezper- Angel
The Rock
scarab-vagabond

ignore him, hes a shit stirrer, he does it for entertainment, the only reason he finds it entertaining is because of the way people respond, seriously this is the kinda thing my mum would have told me when i was 5! i think people need to stop taking the forums so seriously.. i used to, but as you may have noticed i dont really give a shit what people say about me now.

well no, not really! even if you did mean it. most personal attacks on forums like these shouldnt be taken seriously coz most of the time they dont know fuck all about the person they are insulting, apart from what music they like!

Posted by Kapedano on Sep-22-2005 22:28:

god i cant fuc*in stand Mike Foyle, his track are absolute dog shit, fuck off Mike, you should stop producing music.

kiddin

Mikey is a fuc*in joke anyways.

wooohaaa, just listened through those Parc samples, amazing stuff..'Morning Ember' is AWESOME !!! Also love 'Remote Island Paradise', beautiful, simply beautiful.. still listen to that 'For The Fallen' sample, good piano melodies always touch me, no matter which bitrate they have

just take this as an example how a post in a "Airbase fans..." thread should look like kids..

The only problem with this is that there are a bunch of people who use this as an excuse to just berate others for their own amusement, generally because they lead rather sad and unfullfilling lives.

It's just a forum, don't take it so seriously, blah blah

I have met some of my closest friends on forums, and even the first love of my life... how am I not to take it seriously in some respects?

I can take a joke as much as the next person, slate me in a jesting manner, and I will reciprocate the cheekiness.

Attack me harshly without legit motives or facts, and I will retaliate to the best of my ability.

I personally think that getting happiness in life through constant attempts at upsetting others, is far more sad than those targets actually getting upset.

Let the 'cry me a river', etc flaming commence

Posted by natethemac on Sep-22-2005 22:52:

The thing about Mikey Mike's response, was that it sounded like he had his own personal strifes with Airbase he wanted to take care of. Haha.

Everything is like marmite, you either love it or hate it at the end of the day.

nah, I find the majority of stuff out there I am indifferent to, there are as many tracks that I can't stand (ie. walk off a dancefloor) as there are ones I love, the rest are just 'meh'

absolutely, and yes its complete dog shit the way alot of people talk on here. but at the end of the day what can ya do? fuck all. so as far as im concerned the best way to deal with it is ignore it. + i agree with you that you can meet some quality people on here. ive made alot of friends and contacts through here, so i guess what i was trying to say is "dont take the things that certain people on here say too seriously".

C'mon, put on your fav track and chill out now. I'm to tired to listen to this deranged debate that's going nowhere really.

Some like what I do, some dont. I like what I do, and thats why I do it.
Just make sure to let me know when you hear a track I've done that you like. That inspires me!

All the best, and a great weekend to you all!

My faves are:
The Scarab vs Inzite - Unity Of Earth. Lots of good memories
Labworks - Ibiza Sunrise (Airbase Remix)
and
Mono - Rise.

They're all quality uplifting trance

There's always the option of 'not reading'. At least this provides some entertainment.

Jez, wanted to ask, you planning on doing/have you done anything similar to the sound of Monastery Hill?

I found it rather refreshing and fun, loved the filtered bassline on the initial buildup

Posted by Airbase on Sep-23-2005 07:58:

I dont know actually
I never have a plan when producing, so we'll see what's to come!
