wicked wicked, well done guys.

citrus - aka the dude that showed the room you can drop any style you want if you put it in the right part of your set - quality work mate.

not that curtis has a computer... i think he's still using a beta vcr!

Smile Tongue

great work on the setup guys, next time i think you can expect a bigger turn out as exams etc. will be done.

all of you well played, only thing i got to suggest is that you try not to go too uplifting/driving early as i think it can leave the night starting to sound too much like any other trance night, keep it original and unique as you set out to do. give us more deep prog trance bass lines.

cirtus played the most versatile set i have ever heard, with tracks from electro breaks, house, prog and trance all put together in a manner that flowed and he cranked it. something different and inspirational that changed the way i see the scene heading. every DJ can learn a lot from this guy, he is exactly what a DJ should be. In love with the tunes he plays, totally individual and not at all jaded. its about time he had his chance to be noticed and i am certain he was, he is not the sort to promote himself with talk so i am glad he got to on the obsession decks last night.

not blowing wind up his ass here just telling it how i see it and i know he doesnt really ever look on here anyway.

also anything said above that sounds critical is only done so in the hope it will be taken constructively for the benefit of the night and only if my suggestions are of any help or use. not that my opinion would be all that important to many

Great night guys, I really enjoyed myself and I will definately be heading down next time.

I mentioned to some friends we were going and they asked if I could get them some tickets. I did not really expect them to be as excited as I was. It turns out they were blown away and had a great night!

You definately make room better than it has ever been before.

Joax.

damn straight. play good tunes, watch dance floor freak out. Any DJ can set make trance fans dance by rolling out the mainstream trance bomb du jour, but I've got a lot more respect for the DJ that can roll out a track that's not trance at all, but that the DJ knows will set a trance crowd off if dropped at exactly the right moment. nice one curtis!

fark. glad someone else understands the point - there's heaps of good music out there just waiting to set a club on fire for those of you open-minded enough to explore the world beyond your narrow genre-boxes. dunno what the tune was, but it was definitely full-on breaks, and if definitely went off.

I LOVE BREAKS!!!

And for all you tranceaddicts that can at least handle, if not love, breaks... GET YOURSELVES TO A BREAKFASTAZ gig next time they're out, they will absolutley blow you away. Termed 'hard breaks' which basically means it's the perfect hybrid of today's trancey synths & uplift, old school rave, and party breaks. Mmmm

As for Obsession...

So sad I missed it, but I am there for round three!! Make it January please and I'll drag every single one of my friends who sook about exams and what not to this grand event.

I gotta see this Citrus guy!

fantastic night only now just crawled out from under my rock to go into work, so much for studying over the weekend. all the sets were awesome, pity i missed your jules set but apparently it was awesome. citrus' set at the end was a great way to end an evening, after scotty and strangis pumped up the crowd with some wicked tunes. highlight of the evening for me was when scotty dropped 'phynn - escape' man i love that song.

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-31-2005 03:01:

Hey Guys, did anyone take photo's?

Posted by Teflon_Teapot on Oct-31-2005 03:02:

i think Vi was taking photos

top night

well done to the boys for putting it all together it was even bigger then the first one. loved the decor it worked really well with the intros and the lighting.

music was spot on from all djs and the crowd was definately up for it.

two thumbs up

Posted by 00soups00 on Oct-31-2005 04:37:

finally home.. great night was put on.. the little things that needed fixing (like the intros) were fixed, and made things so much better.. a decent crowd considering the unfortunate date it fell on. a great set by jules with some great tracks to get it all started.. scotty played a great set and unfortunately i had to leave at 2am, but had a great nite despite this.

guessing i have to catch Citrus back next time
