Posted by KristineClub on Dec-01-2005 05:37:

Wow, that really takes me back! I can't believe that was nearly 20 years ago! I was like five! I used to love that show. Dinosaucers and Silver Hawks were my two favorite cartoons (and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of course). Thanks for reminding me!

Most watched cartoons as a child: Transformers, GI-Joe, He-man, Thunderhawks, Gobots, Voltron, Smurfs, Snorks, Scooby-Doo, Batman: the animated series, Ghostbusters (The Real ones), X-men, Jabberjaw, Hare Bear Bunch, Droopy, Yogi Bear, Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, and of course the Bugs Bunny crew.

Gummy bears...
bouncing here and there
and everywhere
High adventures
beyond compare
They are the Gummy Bears!

Awww I loved Denver the last Dinosaur!!! I lived in Denver at that time and I thought it was the coolest thing!

So can anyone besides be name 5 smurfs....

I still have my old He-man and Transformers around somewhere! I loved the X-men, I still have all the trading cards as well as series 1-9 of the Garbage Pail Kids! I found the remakes a few months back at a gas station and bought them all!

SO while we are on this note, does anyone else have this pet peeve: I HATE it when I see kids like 13 wearing an Atari 2600 shirt or a Lite Brite (I think that is how it was spelled) shirt like I saw yesterday! I get pissed because they do not even know what that shit was!!! It is like, Get your own crappy stuff, don't try to make my stuff from the late 70's early 80's cool, it already was!!!!

Posted by money_penny on Dec-01-2005 18:12:

i didn't get to watch the smurfs...or fragglerock. my mom was extremely religious at that time...so those cartoons were considered to be works of the devil!! no joke...but somehow i was able to watch nightmare on elm st. and poltergeist.
