define uplifting ....... I dont listen to trance to get hyped up, there are other types of music for that. Techno does a better job.

To me uplifting trance is trance that will turn a bad mood into a good mood .

As it is, this guide is corroborated as the best by the majority of EDM (or at least trance) listeners. I think it gets linked here more often than wikipedia.

In other words, it's justified by the general acceptance it gets.
