Now that I've had my 3rd coffee of the day, it's my turn.
What a wicked night, but alas I ran into some problems.
Everything was going pretty nicely. There was only 3 of us originally but I ran into my other buddies later in the night. We were all wasted before we even entered the club. Line moved quickly from what I noticed. Spent the first two hours in KH, fuckin SICK tracks. My friend michelle pulled us back into the guv just in time for Second Sun to start. What a fucking SICK set.
The bomb dropped when at around 4:30am I checked my phone only to notice a series of txt's from the other guy we came in with. he got kicked out of the club at 2:30 for some reason, walked to Union, couldn't get in, so he dropped $75 for a taxi to drive him to his car in Pickering. So we left once i got those message, also couldn't get into union, so we walked to the CBC building to stay warm until union opened. We were fucked off our tree's sitting in the building, you could hear the wind blowing against the doors... trippiest sound EVER.
So aside from all that bullcrap it was a pretty kick-ass evening!

Before I read the first 13 PAGES!!... my review. in a nutshell
I've waited 6 years to finally see Blank & Jones and Mauro Picotto (yes, believe it or not, it was my first time seeing both 
)
BLANK & JONES - HOLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
They had me right from start to finish... actually I left right after Ferry Corsten - Star Traveller... but I assume they were almost done by that point. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - MR. BRIGHTSIDE!!.. HOLY CRAP!... so that's the Blank & Jones Remix eh? I just stood there with my eyes closed with my arms raised high to the sky and took every moment of it in. What a fucking awesome tune!!! I noticed they played a shitload of newer stuff that I couldn't recognize. Amazing amazing stuff... they totally surpassed the level as to what I expected from them. Definately one of those sets I will always remember.... so consistent... a few lulls, but worked well with the set.
MAURO PICOTTO - All I have to say is... stick with producing man... heard some classic tracks and was truly happy to hear KOMODO... but WTF was with this guys set? Seriosuly.... the last track he played.... I wanted to jump on the decks and hit the power switch myself! Fuck was it ever annoying!!! Music for druggies is all I could think about... and not like I had a lack thereof either 
JUNKIE XL - MAN.. cna this guy ever get a party started. wikkid tunes.. and the guy is awesome to watch as well! So animated! Really involved me with his music just by wathcing him... cool video to come 
SECOND SUN - AWESOME!!! Only heard abotu 45 mins of them... but they were fuckign rocking the joint! I got a pretty good video of them doing Cruch too... I'll get the pics and vids up later
So, this is it folks... I had a ton of fun partying with you in my time here in Ontario... I Leave for Australia in 2 more sleeps... and I'm sure gonna miss the scene here. I'll be back in Vancouver by 2010 for the Olympics.. but hopefuly get to make a few more trips back to T.O. when I get back

Before I read all the reviews and pictures, I just wanted to say, that last night was SERIOUSLY the best time I've had at Guvernment/KH since last March or April for either Decadence or Ferry Corsten, respectively!
What a fucking BEYOND WORDS PHENOMINAL PARTY!
THANK YOU FUCKING TOTAs for making it what it was. This one will truly live on forever in my mind as one of my greatest Guv complex moments - a standard to which many/most subsequent parties will be rated against!

got to the pre party where second sun was already present. got some autographs which was really nice of them to do.
headed off to the club and stopped by to get somethign to eat cuz i always get hungry later on. (i hate that they dont sell any food at the guv/KH)
when we got there, i think the coat check line was bigger than the guestlist line

JXL was really good. i didnt know what to expect and he really impressed me. lots of energy, jumping around and always moving. really pumps up the crowd.
headed off for second sun and they rocked! again, didnt know wat the expect but im really glad that i got to see them. it was mighty packed in the guv though
and those people that walk right in the front of the stage where its the most packed. come on people, have the courtesy to walk around and not disturb others dancing.
after SS, headed off to cool off on the patio which was really refreshing. back to the KH and mauro was playing there. like everyone has already said, HE SUCKED ASS! he really put me to sleep. then at around 4.30 he played komodo and i was like, ok this is probably the last track ill get up and warm up for B&J. but NO! the ****** kept going for another 30 min!
when B&J came on though, it was just pure trance heaven. the first hour went by so fast. track after track after track...pure trance. when perfect silence came on, that just killed me. i just start going crazy, and i look over and i see swamper just going nuts also. dont think i stopped once for that entire track. this was the best set of the night for sure.
TAs, u guys made the night, no doubt about it. i always meet new one and see the old ones come out again and again. some pics and vids of the highlights are up and u can get them below.
