Ok 2 days later.... full review time.

Got there waaayyyyy too early. The Jungle stuff (no offense to anyone) was really not my thing, and it seemed to me the candy kids were on a mission to make life as hard as possible for everyone that was dressed politically correct. Sadly enough, I turn 19 in a month so I couldn't make it to the TranceAddict room, although I saw lots of you coming in. Good to see everyone (also good meeting some of you).

Tried not to kill my energy too much before J00f but found it very hard because of Mark EG. Great, great performer but I found that his set really didn't do it for me in terms of creativity. The crowd loved it, he was having a blast, all the people behind him were laughing.... no complaints .

On came J00f and to be honest, for a man with such a big name I was very disappointed. I didn't hear anything particularly special about his set although he did have some nice filler tracks that would have been great if the set had gone into some awesome psy/epic trance. I would have much rather have seen CL, or Astral Projection, or Yahel if it were to be the same style. Seemed like alot of you were loving it up in the front though, glad someone was feelin' it.

After 3, went up to the TA room, saw some of you then basically just passed out. So tired from no sleep the night before and just from being in the middle of all the crackheads in the main room that my body just shut down for a bit. Sorry if I seemed rude to any of you, just wasn't really with it and quite sober too.

Now for the main event, ADAM F*CKING SHERIDAN. Man oh man, from what I heard in his set, awesomeness extremus. Most of you had left by the time he had come on but for the ones that remained.... Yes sir, he was by far the floor killer!! Interesting story; before J00f had started spinning, I went to the side of the stage and called him. He runs over, shakes my hand and starts talking to me. Super, super nice guy!! I wish he comes back because unfortunately, I didn't hear all of his set (a good length of it).

Anywho, 'till we meet again

MARK EG IS WHY I WENT....MARK EG IS WHAT I GOT!!!

OK, so my review...

Mark EG, thanks for signing my butt...offers me that small token of my 'raver' days and the music that went along with it. I only wish your set could have lasted longer. I was dancing like a machine. It was just fackin sick.... IMO. I seriously was going crazy. But I can understand how some people would believe it was not their cup of tea... But truly and honestly I had a great time and looking forward to many more sets in the future...

John 00 Fleming was very impressive. Hard trancy beats kept my feet going through til almost 5am...when did Adam Sheridan come on? Well, he was not what I wanted to hear after J00F. Just didn't flow right after the last set and I wanted more of the great beats J00F was putting out. Adam S did well, just wasn't what I liked at the time.

I had a great time with all of you. Great venue as usual. Kudos to the Destiny and Temproal Rhythm crew for another great event.

around 4:45 is when he ended it. I literally did not stop dancing to his set. it was THAT good. I wanted to stay for Sheridan because from the looks of it his shit was pretty ace. dirty progish type of stuff...just my kind of thing but a friend of mine was tired so we had to leave...

oh well probably for the best. got home at 7AM anyway..

What a party Saturday night!

First off, Congrats to Del on the 6 year anniversary; the board has grown likely beyong your own expectations in 6 years and it's still going strong! Congrats also to Destiny and TR for throwing what I thought was the best party in years!

As per usual the vibe was what I come to expect from Destiny. Add in the amazing TA turnout and it was even better. The extra effort that was put in for the dcor was hugely apparent the place looked amazing and it added to the atmosphere so much. The dj booth on the stage is waaaaaay better. Loving the big screens too!

TA djs were great too; Chris started the night off perfectly with some softer trance that set the mood up nicely. Kevin and Sean brought it up nicely with some house beats that had the room bumping as well. Nice work guys!

It was unfortunate I was playing the same time as Mark EG as I havent seen him in 5 years great to finally meet him a real down to earth guy welcome back Mark and hope to see you soon!
After my set I had to head down to the main room to catch J00F I think the Destiny set up is far more suited to his sound and he sounded great on Saturday! Always great to catch up with him as well Adam Sheridan clsed the night perfectly and had me staying later than my body wanted. By 5:30 I was spent and had to go.

Awesome night from start to finish awesome hanging out with all the TAs in the Green Room and great partying with you all at the Docks. It had been a while since I've seen alot of you and it was great to be around you all again.
TA support for this event was unbelievable and thats great to see.

Cant wait for the next Destiny party- they keep getting better and better!

oh ya how was it? I guess I gotta give it another chance. Last three times i went to the guv have been really bad buzz's.

DECADENCE 2 was by far the best time of my life. i wish i could go back in time and run that again but at one point was so mashed i tripped oversomeones shoes and bumped into a juice monkey.. the guy picks me up wiht one arm and is redy to kill me. lol. needless to say i wasnt in the right train of thought to understand why this refrigerator had it in for me and luckily he saw that and put me down.

LABOUR OF LOVE - the sardine can at its best... stood in line for about 3 hrs, finally got in . balh blah. stashed some candy but they seeped into my skin and by far the worst buzz iv ever had. had a trashy cid buzz where everyones starein at u couldnt even concentrate on the music. lol.

At the gift - mark oliver started off alright but the crowd was just sooo lame. everyone here seems to hate candy kids but fuk at least they dance and not stand around in the middle of the D-A-N-C-E floor. I think i saw like 10 ppl in total dancing completly killed the vibe.

i was gonna give the guv another chance for theory put i hear pendulum is comin next month instead huuuuuge disapointment.. so next is dec 3 i think.

I'm so glad I decided to come out to this event! Although the kids gave me the chills (especially in the HH room), I had an awesome time! The TA room felt so warm and welcome, so I tried not to leave it for any other room. GREAT tunes coming from all the TA deejays; Disappointed that I missed Chris' set, but HARCOURT made up for it I was totally impressed and I loved every ass shaking minute of it! Got some action in the main room for some Jungle (it was my first time too), and damn, I COULD keep up with everyone but I could only last for so long heh. I did NOT want to waste all my energy on it, so I quickly went back up. It was funny seeing a 15 year old girl hit on Christina though ahahahahah. Watched some of Mark EG's set and I wasn't really feeling it. I loved his energy and enthusiasm on the stage, but the hardstyle wasn't really my thing. Part of it was because the Docks' sound system was utter garbage! I thought the Guv was pretty bad, but the system there was unbelievably unenjoyable That was also why I couldn't enjoy j00f and Sheridan's sets as much as I'd like to. Other than that j00f totally kicked ass, and Sheridan was pleasantly surprising. I can't believe he played White Water - Unknown! Headed to the breaks room for a bit - wow it was pretty fun, but they closed down the room 10 mins after I had just got there...ah well.. Left when it was closed, was supposed to head home, but decided to hit the CZ for some more ass shaking (16 hrs in total since 10:30 pm .) I can't say no to a girl lol

Congrats Del on the 6th year; I will definately look forward to the years to come since this was my first Awesome time partying with you guys...I say this ALL the time, but it's the truth!! I met quite a few new faces as well. That's probably the best part; I love meeting nice new partyers CHEERS to that! Next week bitches!!

I was thinking the exact opposite. I was standing about 3-4 feet away from one of the speakers up front for all of Flemings set and was pleasantly surprised by the crispness of the sound. Perfect for the prog./psy-trance set he threw at us. It was a little off for Mark EG, but I'd attribute that to the intensity of his set.
Compare that to the bass-driven sound set-up that seems to be mandatory for EVERY set that is played at the Guv. If i stand within 10 feet of a speaker at the Guv. I have a tough time hearing the next day.

I tend not to pick one club over another - as all of them have their good and bad points; but I think the sound on Sat. was preemo.

Thanks again J00F, can't wait for your return to TO.....
