That is a tough question because I personally need the perfect combo of delicious pho AND those deep fried spring rolls.

Definitely my favourite place at the moment is Xe Lua (aka Green Train) on Hwy 7 - for some reason tastier than the Xe Lua on Spadina. Probably one of the best straight up pho (not spring rolls) down south is Pho 88. Real nice pieces of rare beef last time I was there.

Overall, I have rarely had a bad Vietnamese restaurant experience, but sometimes it also depends on how hungry and/or blitzed you are :P

Is that one on McCowan b/w Finch and Steeles area? If so, yeah. their pho sate is freaking awesome.

Looking for recommendations in downtown area. Pre clubbing grub

I think Pho 88 is a chain and the one I was talking about is on Spadina. Pho Hung and Xe Lua are both solid choices.

Pho before the bars?! I need some more solid substance to soak up all the vodka

I don't go to big clubs to get drunk anymore.
Though I do eat a big bowl of rice with pho

I knew there was a thread somewhere for this..

my new daily craving (besides my tripe Grande Orange Latte):

Strawberry Sunshine Booster Juice
- strawberries, exotic passion fruit, guava , and bananas. (with an energy booster: *Is a source of food energy. Korean Ginseng & Bee Pollen to help get the most out of your day!)

Both are 2 very expensive things to crave daily too.
