I was def not going to go to Jummy Van M as I was only going to be a bad student for Sasha & Digweed...

They've just confirmed exam timetables... and I've got...

an EXAM ON CUP DAY and an EXAM THE DAY AFTER CUP DAY.

Oh god, I cry so much. To risk final year exams for S&D or not?!
That sucks so much!!

After hearing Jimmy Van M's Balance I am really interested to see how he will go down at Famous. I think it may be the first night that the place isnt packed with floral dresses and cowboy boots!

I've enjoyed it both times I have been there and yeah the music grows on you. I know so many words to to those tunes now its scary!

Guys after seeing King Unique at Godskitchen (well one of them) I suggest you head to Famous on 21st October. Was my fav set of GK

Posted by Mike Nichol on Oct-09-2006 07:01:

Very nice! Congrats to Jimmy with the Balance CD.

Just reading itm,

Quote "His warm-up set for Sasha and Digweed at Welcome 2001 (held at Melbournes docks) is legendary. Ask anyone who was fortunate enough to be there"

I was there, correct me if im wrong, but it was Kasey Taylor who played before Sasha & Diggers. And what a set that was!

No it was JVM. Unfortuantely i dont agree with the comments above and that set pretty much ruined my night. Set of the night was Quinny. If i remember correctly, he dropped Naimee Coleman, Placebo and all those insane Brothers in Rythym bombs! He was on fire for a good 6mths...

Jimmy was playing the most boring shit of all time and went overtime probably because Sasha wasnt 'in the mood' just yet.

Posted by Mike Nichol on Oct-09-2006 07:33:

fair enough I know kasey played somewhere in there, im sure of it. Quinny was on after s&d, can you rememeber what time that was? Id left by then.
