Have any of you guys seen Locked Up Abroad (formerly Banged Up Abroad) on National Geographic? It's a frickin' fantastic show. Each episode is about a different person or couple who got talked into smuggling drugs across various borders, and got caught after realizing they bit off more than they could chew. It's so good. They changed the name to Locked Up Abroad though b/c some of the newer episodes deal with people who have gotten locked up for other reasons (i.e. one guy got kidnapped in the Philippines). Definitely check it out.

The Union: The Business Behind Getting High

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Great documentary, really well done and comes from an unbiased point of view that shows all the different facets of the industry from growers, police officers, criminologists, economists, doctors, politicians and pop culture icons and how it manages to earn 7 billion dollars annually in Canada alone. Great eye opener to those who are indifferent to the subject.

Edit: features hilarious commentaries from Joe Rogan

I just watched "Grizzly Man" last night.

It never appealed to me in the past ~ I should have watched it sooner; it was fascinating, beautiful, disturbing... and says just as much about human nature as it does about nature.

Really great documentary.
