REVIEW FROM ITM

Interview parties are hard to go past when youre after a top night out. I know, I have been to many of them and, like I found out Saturday night, no matter what I plan to do, I always end up there.

As mentioned I planned a pizza night with some mates, but when they left and it was only 12amthe thought entered my mind to head to Interview. I am glad, like always That I did.

When I got there the place was well packed. On the decks downstairs was Foundation. As was his dance moves behind the decks, he played a jacking type style of house and progressive. Combining elements of lots of different genres, it was real dance floor friendly and the dance floor was packed. Mixing was some of the best I have heard for a long time, and a notable track was a breaky remix of Mobys Go.

During Foundations set, I ventured upstairs to catch some of Blinky. Anyone who has heard him play can vouch that he is one of Australias great talents. Playing live on ableton, he has some great fresh material. Up after Blinky was Ben Evans opening with a remix of Touch Me by Rui De Silva, he immediately had the crowd going mental.

Back downstairs and Julien Reynolds was on. Julien took the reins from Foundation and continued on the electro proggy type sound, yet deeper and more suited to the time of morning it was.
The big feature of Interview parties is the crowd; it is such a friendly up for it crowd and tonight was no different.

Unfortunately, my quiet night in had turned to early morning and it was time for me to leave. Even though my time was short there it was mad fun. Top stuff guys!

funny, i don't remember meeting you at all, ohh where you the guy wearing the backpack? hehehe (ps. i met you at Two Tribes 03 )

thats probably one of the drunkest weekends i've ever had, starting on friday during my lunch break at work when i decided to take a stroll outside and found a $100buck note on the ground and splurging at the grog shop, getting maggot at Jimmy van M, three hours sleep, flying to melb, not eating all day (was waiting for a Souva, yum!) spending the last of my $100 in melb grog shop, deciding to wait for Souvlaki before eating was a bad idea because when i broke my fast i was already very drunk, and drinking some of Mandis lethal Croatian Kruskovac (loved it!) i lost my memory shortly after grunts set.

but as usual it was great to party with all you melb guys, and the afterparty at bens was great fun!
