Psh, I'm sure everyone will agree that talking about my hair is much better than re-hashing the same TO local DJs/scene drama we've already been over a bajillion times.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Nov-06-2006 22:38:

LOL@ the ID's

There's also a track with a vocal that goes something like "i like to do each thing by not following the previous" or something to that extent. i can't remember how it goes exactly but i'm sure u guys know what i'm talkin about

Posted by Silky Johnson on Nov-06-2006 22:40:

I only recognized ONE track the whole set!

The guy who recorded it pm'ed me on HA, saying a lot of the tracks in the set are unreleased (yeah, like I needed him to tell me that ), which is apparently why Burridge is upset that the set is out.

Haven't heard part 3 yet, I know a few from 1, just gotta check my collection.

Posted by PressPLay on Nov-06-2006 22:44:

Terrible with IDing, but definitely heard some of the tracks. As Skipper mentioned even Adam Beyer at 99 Sudbury played a track from Lee's set too.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Nov-06-2006 22:45:

oh ya, last track is:
Esoterik & Kirk Degiorgio - Starwaves (Spiritcatcher remix)

I didn't remember it till I listened to the set again.

That is Donnacha Costello - ok that's great start over (released on Minimise). Right after Model 8 - Lemon 8 at the end of part 2 I think.

Some I noticed with a quick listen:

Part 1 46mins - Exercise One - Debaya (Mobilee Records)
Part 2 26mins - Guy Gerber/Shlomi Aber - Sea of sound (Cocoon)
Part 2 40 mins - Audion - Mouth to Mouth
Part 3 14mins - Claude Vonstroke - Who's afraid of Detroit? (this was the ID I was asking about)
Part 3 50mins - I know this one...it will come to me...anyone know the one that comes in after it? 55mins? Great groovy minimal track.

I found part 3 to be sort of grating and harsh aside from a few tracks.

31. "lets get to the real thing ... to the real thing ... to the real thing"
32.
33.
34. 60.30 min
35.
36.

I find part 3 to be the most twisted part. He has some levels a little too high though at times.

I am pretty sure it's the same as the last track on the Adam Beyer RA mix I posted in the techno thread, which was ID'd on another board. I haven't actually checked it out and made the call for myself so you could be entirely right.

Posted by Cribby on Nov-07-2006 17:46:

Hmm so weird...I know I heard Sebo K - Horizons...I'm 100% sure...but it's not on any of the parts...

Anyways...I managed to ID one more on the 3rd part..

30. Thomas Schumacher - Red Purple

Oh man, this set is just amazing. Dude, I can't believe you mentioned people cleared out of this party at 3am that night. Guess Burridge was light-years ahead of his time and will always be misunderstood...

Right now, I'm half way through Part 2. The fucken set grabbed me instantly from the beginning. Thanks again for this gem!!!

I'm fucking loving this track right now. Lee does a mashup of this track and another track called "Dump Truck" in this set. I heard Addy do a mashup of this track at Comfort 2 weeks back that was fucking insane. I enjoyed Addy's mashup a lot better. I'm not sure what track he mashed it up wtih though.

I'd love to hear him do that again.

""Mouth to Mouth" struts in confidently, like a freshly-oiled sexbot. The murmurs of something wicked are on the horizon, but we're too busy dancing to that gorgeous nagging bassline. Things are moving along just fine until that distant hum rises to a fevered pitch and a massive buzzsaw blade takes the track's head clean off, spraying its black oil across the walls."

Good description.
