actually, imo, i wouldn't be surprised if the lakers let jackson go, then the bobcats start showing strong interest in phil jackson. they have plenty of cap space after this year, and they are 1 big FA signing away from being a very good team, especially with emeka okafor, raymond felton, knight, and may playing exceptionally well and the adam morrison project underway. one big focal point why the bobcats will entertain jackson is that michael jordan is part of their management. he would want jackson to coach this young team.

hmmm I did not see MJ in BC management. MJ and Phil together again!!! I am pretty sure MJ will just pickup a phone and ask for him to coach, but anyhthing is possible. The sad thing is its a whole new NBA since MJ as a Baller left. Its like lengends working with HS kids. Give these NBA great rookies a few years and then show them the light with a couple of good role players also.

What a win by the Knicks over the Jazz, with a short-handed staff, just 2 days after the brawl!
Great heads-up pass from Lee to Marbury to get the buzzer-beater

Jazz's winning streaks are over just like Orlando. As for the Knicks, their goal is better than last year(23) almost half way

Thanks to that, now the Spurs are the best in the West and..in the league . Yes, I ll stop bragging now.

Nuggets win the A.I. sweepstakes, trading Andre Miller, Joe Smith and draft picks

a wtf trade if you ask me. well depending on where denver places this year will affect the sixers.

sixers get a playmaker in miller, where they finally get a decent point guard. a.i. is a shooting guard, not point guard. joe smith is washed up, so he's no good. look for him to be cut next week. as for the 2 draft picks, supposedly the 2007 draft is supposed to be a deep draft class, so whereever denver places in the draft, the sixers, if draft properly, get someone decent in 1 of their 2 picks.

the nuggets finally get a decent shooting guard since the ol' wild wild west shootout days in the mid 80s to early 90s, with michael adams. nuggets could be hurting at the point guard position, since they do not have a quality point guard to replace miller. we will see.

ahem, what about EARL BOYKINS!?!?!? come on...lol...

I hate this trade... I now hate the sixers, and I definately hate the nuggets, this is probably the gayest trade that could have happened, this or sending him to ANY other west team... so gay...

Posted by Trancealot on Dec-20-2006 00:29:

76ers went from on the map to off. They still got Chris Weber

Nuggets went from on the map to funny. Two leading scorers! We will have to wait 15 games to see how this turns out

isiah thomas engineerd yet another trade

indeed. this trade has made the gap between the eastern and western conference even furthur than it was before.

Nuggets game vs. Suns gets snowed out
That should help Nuggets, as they'll have A.I. for their next game, and for whenever this game is made up (probably along with Melo)

Posted by Yohan on Dec-21-2006 15:00:

IMO 76ers got the better deal, as they are rebuilding. Start from Miller and Iguodala.

Well, Iverson and Melo should definitely be interesting. Well, more depending on AI finally get mature and pass the f'king ball, which he can easily do well.

I don't think George Karl is the couch to lay the beats on AI and Melo if they go out of line.

David Lee involved with back-to-back OT buzzer-beaters!
Great tip-in off the inbounds with 0.1 second left

I am suprised...no shaq and the heat still won. Kudos and the knicks still suck. Merry X-MAS and holiday's

Posted by partyhopper on Dec-26-2006 04:56:

yeah, amazing how the Knicks can beat the Jazz, but then lose badly to the Sixers (without A.I.)

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Dec-28-2006 05:37:

congratulations to the Knicks, beating the Pistons in 3 overtimes, 151-145.

yeah I actual watched until the final tix. I guess when detroit misses one or two shots in triple OT than won't help. The Knicks desrve this one because they always had to come back on each end of game situation.

Posted by Yohan on Dec-29-2006 01:00:

Yay Craptors for being pretty damn good, winning a lot of close games and all this without Bosh.

Eastern Conference still sucks however

dag, sounds like were in the chill out room

Dirk is better than any player on the spurs. Without Duncan I don't think the spurs would win 50+

PS. I don't know football that well but Cowboys are kind of inconsistent...

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Dec-29-2006 22:31:

as much as it doesn't show, it is true that the spurs are nothing without tim duncan. tim duncan is the silent leader of that group. you never see them have mental breakdowns, because duncan has the spurs under control.

as for the cowboys, they suck. yeah yeah, they're in the playoffs, but they're a quick in and out. they will most likely be the wild card team, rather than a divisional winner, which means they will not be playing at dallas. looking at the current format right now, it looks like dallas could play philly @ philly, or seattle @ seattle. good luck with that. haha
