Anyways....as for Tiesto's set: overall, he destroyed the club, no question about it!

Can You honestly say that? You say that in one sentence but fail badly in the following sentences to qualify it. In fact you outright disqualify it. Listen, I'm not trying to bust on you but from one HC T fan to another. Project Orange "EXTENDED SET"!!!!! Was fucking 9 hrs I think. It was a well executed show with all the elements. One crazy journey. Not half assing it making a pre arranged set list work....sorta. And I'm sorry (and this kills me to say) That bullshit with the 'T' shirts at the end really fucking sucked....

Addendum:
I'm really not trying to pick a fight with anybody and I'm not saying that anybodies opinion doesn't count. I don't know if it's denial or what. But I know from where I sit that it was really hard to face the truth after all that crazy crazy hype in Roll Call. Just a little honest objectivity.

I disagree with your opinion on the night: I had a great time, I do honestly think that Tiesto destroyed the club and performed, overall, very well. It was my first time seeing him and from what I saw I was rather impressed: though, as I stated in my post, there were a few points which disappointed me. Anyways, I respect your thoughts, but have nothing else to say about this: I'll leave it at that

Thank you, to both of you, for your concern. However, I feel that I may have perhaps improperly described the situation, i.e. made it seem much worse than it actually was. I did not experience anything close to a seizure: the lights at one point were simply too bright, but I was not in pain or discomfort. I also know that drugs are no joke: I study illicit substances as part of my major in criminology at UofT. Anyways, I don't feel too bad now that I've gotten some sleep. At the end of the day, this is what matters: you are both right, i.e. you gotta be safe with drugs and I agree, and now having actually experienced a night of excess, I now know the point beyond which not to travel (nobody really knows their own tolerance until they experience a night of over-indulgence). Anyways, again, thank you to both of you. This is another issue I'd prefer to end discussion about

all the best guys

Docks' bouncers look like they do greasejobs like the Guv.

Posted by Gypsy on Dec-11-2006 04:53:

for the record, just in case anyone does find themselves in a potential seizure situation because of e, eat some sugar.

a friend of mine found herself in a situation like this but luckily one of the guys we were partying with was a dr from amsterdam and he recommended this.

interesting that 'Diddy was there.. guess he knows EDM is where its at, vibe and all. Maybe we see hip-house making a comeback and maybe even tech-rap? Don't be surprised if these genres start to permeate the edm scene in the next few years..could be a good thing if it's done properly. You just gotta think outside the box sometimes.

PS, Tjis set in Montreal will be different.. he's got no choice but to bring it in North America's edm capital

Didn't you just start partying? No offense dude, but you cannot fully appreciate the dangers of drugs by reading a book. It's something you get with experience.

I'm glad nothing happened to you though. I know personally that I am very sensitive to strobe lights. Even when I'm sober, I sometimes feel like I'm going to pass out if they're too intense.

I remember one time at The Pheonix in London, they had them going off for like fucking 20 minutes straight. At one point, I felt that something bad was going to happen, so I tried getting to an exit. The place was so packed, and I was so disoriented that I thought I wasn't going to make it out. Luckily, I did.

All I have to say is that I go to Tiesto because it's always an amazing vibe and the people are usually awesome!

With that said, I met a really cool girl, danced my ass of all night and in the end I GOT TIESTO'S HEADPHONES! How can I possibly complain?

I had a great time, as always, can't wait until he's back again.

I also feel realy messed from strobe lights, specialy in the gallery, cuz they are realy low. It usualy bothers me when im sober. Under the influance i dont notice it.

PS. I would be totaly crushed if i heard a DJ that i love play a Hip Hop track. It would totaly kill my whole night.

lol, yes.
as your attorneys, we advise you to get into a serious drug collection and push it as far as you can.

That's not what I mean dude, lol. He just made it sound like he is confident in his knowledge of the dangers of drugs due to his studies at U of T. My point was to warn him that he may not know as much as he thinks he knows, and err on the side of caution.

Very True... Tijs and Digweed are my two favourite... But still though.. it killed my mood last night hearing that... Like I was soo pumped during he's a pirate when Diddy first made his appearance... and how Diddy and Tijs were laughin makin the "T" with their hands.. I felt like.. "THis is awesome .. Tiesto is havin as much fun as me".. the he drops that song... and it killed me.. not only cuz of the song... but cuz he enjoyed droppin it.. and he thought he was the man for droppin it.. NO TIJS it ruined my night... U R the man for the Gebrunn Gebrunn into dance for life... but NOT THAT!!!

Some people learn best by 'doing'. But some people also like doing everything they read on the internets, so it's good that you made this post too. it should be clear that WE'RE NOT REAL ATTORNEYS!

p.s. some of you might enjoy this - tiesto videos

It's odd that you mis-interpreted my post to mean that my school-based studies are sufficient sources of information with respect to the dangers of drug use, particularly insofar as I emphasized the importance of personal experience:

Thank you, though, for your advice, I appreciate it

people should have started tossing glow sticks and water bottles into the Dj Booth for that kind of shit.

Im sure if a trance tune was dropped at a rap concert, some bad shit would go down
