No, you are right. Sort of. Sorry for the lack of a link, but I remember reading that bisexuality is pretty much the most common sexuality. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have any good sources.

At the very least, I looked up Wikipedia:

Some studies, notably Alfred Kinsey's Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), have indicated that the majority of people appear to be at least somewhat bisexual.

How do you "push" someone to be gay?

Homosexuality is accepted "now".

Generations and generations down the road, we are killing ourselves. If you preach homosexuality and let it survive in the long run the human race is destroyed.

Same as if you preach hate and intolerance?

I always find it funny when people, for the argument, claim that being raised by a homosexual will turn a child into one. So not true.

More homosexuals have been children of heterosexual couples than homosexual couples...therefore that argument holds no water. If you think that argument is true then, by statistics, you would also have to believe that heterosexual parents cause MORE homosexuality.

amusing, to say the least.

Personally i am for gay and lesbian adoption (and marriage). A lot of people's arguments point at the kids being teased by other kids on the school yard because of it. Well kids also get teased for big noses so should we correct their noses before entering school? Kids also get teased for being too short, too tall, freckles, bad hair etc etc etc so should we simply start altering are children's appearances so they don't get teased? Too silly.

Cute...but hate to ruin your day - I am straight.

Though I do definitely agree with what you are saying, tiesto14, I think that most people's hesitation to compare children making fun of kids with homosexual parents and children making fun of kids with freckles, glasses, etc comes from the fact that no major institution has ever actively protested and expressed unwarranted hatred for children with freckles.

Now I am going to contradict my own post earlier by saying this, but has anyone ever heard of Matthew Shepherd?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Shepherd

True, this isn't necessarily a direct example of children picking on each other because of their parents, but it seems to me that if this sort of ridiculous hatred is out there, then children may face the brunt of it. I understand this is a pretty extreme example, but it is sickening sometimes how much people can hate one another for seemingly arbitrary reasons.

I only skimmed this thread, but from what I've read I have decided that I will someday adopt a gay child.

I think that any person should have the right to adopt a child without anyone interfering. Why not?

all for it if they are able to provide the essentials for raising a child
