watching milan today (as oppose to a dissapointing Serie A season in my opinion)

I fail to see why bother comparing Drogba to Ronaldo?

Both players have different jobs due to their positions.

Are both players the key to their teams's success? Yes.
Are both players on the top of their game? Yes.

Why bother comparing then? It'll just turn into a useless pissing match.

Drogba has such a nose for being at the right place at the right time plus his talent arguably makes him 'most dangerous' also

In all honesty i think we (and all united and chelsea fans for that matter) made the same mistake in thinking Ronaldo and Drogba are the two best players in the world right now based on just one stellar season.

I think reality just hit both groups that consistency is what makes a player great and both ronaldo and drogba had been pretty average before this season and infact drogba was quite close to being ditched by Chelsea if rumours before the season started were to be believed.

Both Ronaldo and Drogba failed to perform in the game that mattered most and in the process have probably lost their chance at the World and European footballer of the year awards and rightfully so. If they can maintain the form they showed this year for the next couple of seasons then maybe they can be considered among the all time greats. Kaka has been a player who has been consistent ever since he joined Milan and he exemplified his talent by single handedly knocking us out of the tournament (Gattuso probably helped a little).

Forget this United - Chelsea and Ronaldo - Drogba nonsense and focus on the positives. We got the premiership and FA cup while you got that whatsitcalled trophy that will sell for 10 bucks on ebay (including tax) to gloat about.

and as far as the final goes - GO LIVERPOOL

2026: The Milan tifosi absolutely love it as Gennaro Gattuso shoulders Cristiano Ronaldo off the ball with ease and contempt.


Ronaldo looked shite yesterday. Complaining every time his pass didn't meet it's target (which was almost every time) - arms up wondering what went wrong... poor guy. Milan thumped em. Milan were the better team (by far). Milan will have a tougher time against us Scousers - we don't go down that easy (as you know).

Many great story lines for the final. Will Milan play for revenge? Or will they play cautious - knowing what a mere 6 minutes can do to a 3 - nil lead against the Reds.

Milan IS kaka. And KAKA is shit. (I know he's not, just wanted to get that out.
