Ryan threw a party there like 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday but i didnt know this was a weekly event?

OPM closed dude. They're lookin for a different venue. Probably Level but who knows with Buffalo.

I hate Level and the douchebag tools that work there.
I heard Prespa is closing too but the bulk of the Dj's/Sound is moving to Stillwater... next door. My buddy checked it out Saturday night and said the place has fabulous acoustics. Its a very cool layout as well.
Jess, I would double check the SoHo thing.
I heard it's at Level...awesome place, but mgmt is too tight to let house jams run there like they should.
Robbie Rivera played there in 04 and that was nice...DJ Skribble was there a couple times the year after, but I skipped out on those dates.
Prespa's closing? fack. I love that place.
I can't stand Stillwater...it's too damn rammed in the bar area, but it's a beautiful place. That will be interesting.

Rob G at Off the Wall on Friday Night!! ANyone ever been there for something like this? How is it?
Sounds like there's not much of a consistency in Buffalo scene...

been off here for a week....whats good for this weekend?! Prespa closing would suck....but stillwater is one of my favorite places, i would love for them to bring some Djs there!

rob g at off the wall should be pretty crazy, if the $10 cover doesnt scare people away. havent heard of them doin anything on a fri, but sats there are pretty awsome and free, it gets more and more crowded every week(at least the times ive gone). never been to mode before i might check that out next week.
if anyone is down my roommate and I are going up to t.o for max g fri

I might(maybe) go see Max Graham tonight. He kicks ass.
One of the problems with the Buffalo Scene(there really isnt one) is that it is horribly disorganized. There are a whole 30 people in Buffalo that still really (appreciate the music)/(look for it) and they are spread out because there isnt ONE good place to go per evening... or its not properly promoted.
what a mess. At least at Prespa I knew Iould find OK beats on a Friday and Saturday night. It was guaranteed... so thats pretty much the only place I would go to.
I'm playin at MODE tonight for the fellow TA's. Mostly House and Electro from 11-2. Should be a decent crowd. Stop in have a few & say hi.
No TA's last week but it was a good time. A week later and I'm back at Mode again tonight. House and Electro from 11-2 so stop in and check it out.
Unfortunately this is my last weekend as a Buffalo TA. Well, I don't know if it's that unfortunate really, but I will sincerely miss trekking up to Toronto. I had some great times here though as well. Judge Jules was a lot of fun and every trip to Dragonfly was always great as well.
I'll in the tri-state area for a few weeks, maybe try to make it to a NYC event and then I'll be in SoCal

I made my first trip to the Pearl Street Patio party last night. I was really awesome. The atmosphere was very chill, plenty of room to dance, and a very nice crowd. The music was a bit too techy for me at first when I arrived around 11 30. Around 1230 a new DJ started spinning good hard house and I was getting back into the groove again. Things really started picking up around 1 30, but sadly I had to leave.
It was my first time hearing a couple local DJs tear it up, and i was very impressed. I didn't spend a dime, and had a killer time. I will def. be up there next week, and highly recommend anyone who hasn't gone, to check er out.
