The news is lieing to you, my friends and i were listening to a police scanner. They Killed two gun men, one is still on the lose, and they have one in custody. There are actualy 26 deaths (friends mom is apart of the emergency team). Its been crazy. They went and killed a girl at the dorm thats about 100 feet from mine. They then waited for two hours and proceeded across campus and shot up the engingering building. all the police where across campus. Im hoping i personaly dont know any of the victims.. guys say prayers for the familys, they are going to be getting calls that will forever change their lives.

what we are looking at are weak correlations of behavior. but like arbiter said, its the perfect time to jump in with your agenda, whatever that maybe.

i think it is also ridiculous to blame it on any of those things you listed for many reasons, but one strong one, at least i think is all these so called "influences" exist in many other countries too. fuck, they have even more violent movies outside of the USA.

either way, fucked up way to start the week and end a school year. i was pretty shocking to read about it from here, because I was just checking the news in the morning and im like "holy shit, 1 person killed, and they have the gunman" so im like cool its done, then i come back from lunch to see 32 people dead, wtf.

Eh, I'm taking everything (including what comes from the media) with a grain of salt. That's interesting, but eh, I dunno how completely reliable it is.

As a member of Virginia Tech, I'm glad to see some of you actually took today's events seriously and did not disrespect those that have died in such a horrific manner.

Thank you for your support and I hope that you keep all the victims in your hearts and prayers.

uh yeah.. he couldn't wait.. so uh.. he, you know.. decided to have you mercilessly shot while you were studying for exams.

really. it's really, really important. sorry for such short notice.

I wouldn't normally respond to the insensitive comments, but this one went a bit far. I just don't see how you can make such a light note of this event - do you not even try and put yourself in the shoes of others ? Do you not feel bad at all for the families and friends who are affected by this tragedy?
