Speaking of just sitting there and taking a hit, one of my programming partners does Mui Tai. And I asked him how he would counter a side kick, or what he would do in that situation. Well, he warned me LOL, but just ended up grabbing my legand doing a snap kick straight in my chest. Yeah, that wasn't pleasant to say the least. And since I wanted to check out how hard his shins were, I went in to a bow stance to block a full impact side snap kick, and man, that shit hurt LOL. One of my arms almost went numb .

And less ranch

Posted by Capitalizt on May-11-2007 10:04:

I got the idea for the celery from Ronald Reagan...

Back when his cabinet would get in heated debates over certain issues, Reagan would always reach in the middle of that big table for a bowl of jellybeans, take a few for himself and pass them down to everyone else. Tempers cooled pretty quickly, because it's impossible to be mad when you are eating yummy jellybeans.

I feel the same way about celery.

Posted by shaolin_Z on May-11-2007 10:16:

LOL, I didn't know that

Okay okay I get it. It's not that your voting for him because he wants to ban gay adoption and so do you. You're voting for him for other reasons that are important and central to your views.

Just don't get mad at me if I vote for a candidate for reasons important to my views and just so happens to want to ban Muslim adoption as well. That's all I'm saying.

When did I think of threatening you? When I said that it seems unnatural for Muslims to adopt children? But that's my point of view. You need to learn how to tolerate my point of view (isn't that what you said?).

Put your money where your mouth is. If you're going to be a bully or an asshole, you'd better know how to physically defend yourself too.

That's like saying "If you want to be tough, you better learn how to play football." There's other forms of bullying that are non-physical. di di dirrrrrr.

I'm fairly patient when dealing with people, but if they're complete scum or bullies, I see little reason to be merciful. If your going to dish shit out, you'd better be able to take it too. And if you don't want to end up bruised, bloody, or permanetly injured, don't be an asshole in first place. It's not a hard concept to understand. If that the only thing that'll make someone mind their own business, too bad for them.

I hope your not referring to arguments on TA, because if you're telling me not to say anything because my "asshole" remarks will lead me "bruised, bloody, or permanently injured" by your Al Qaeda booty camp training, then I don't think you belong on TA...or belong in the states.

Hmmm, because wanting to marry something that cannot provide consent is so the same thing.

You are so right because gays, trees, and cats are all non-humans.

If that's your belief, then you'll fit in with Iran. I hear they kill gays just for being homosexuals. Now that's a humane justice system!

Oh great! Saudi Arabia also punishes gays with the DEATH penalty. So you're in the right place.

You know this from experience huh?

Well that's cool. Maybe they should get rid of the law then.
