i'd rather go to a party where there isn't the megaproduction and the music can take center stage - like the sasha/three party - no huge lasers, etc. - just a kick ass sound system, dark and dirty room - the music was what created the vibe and i think everyone who went to the party would agree that sasha and three didn't need anything special to put on a great party.

maybe fireworks at the end of the night would be a plus

brooklyn brewery does get really packed very quickly these days, but it is kind of between the train station and the park so it might do, and you can sit at benches and they have menus for you to order food from if you like
