Fernando Torres to Liverpool
Sheffield United have failed in their attempts to be reinstated in the Premier League
Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Luis Garcia from Liverpool.
Birmingham City have completed the signing of Dutch winger Daniel de Ridder.
Arsenal have completed the signing of Eduardo Da Silva from Dinamo Zagreb.
Bordeaux are interested in Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre,
Aparently Chivu told Barca to f*ck off and has reached an agreement of 4 seasons with Madrid.... Madrid are paying 18M to Roma while Barca were offering 14M plus Giuly... I really dont know why Madrid need another central defender, especially since they already have Ramos, Cannavaro, Metzelder, and a lot of bench defenders like Helguera Mejia, Pavon etc... Im guesing most of these last 3 will be leaving and maybe even Cannavaro..
United have reached an agreement with West Ham over Carlos Tevez for what is believed to be 20 million pounds.
Great player ofcourse but, I would have rather seen an a striker with poaching instincts like Van Nistelrooy come in. Tevez has a very familiar playing style to Rooney i.e. breaking down defences and setting up goal scoring opportunities.
However, the premier league have threatened to block the transfer unless a large chunk of the fee goes to West Ham instead of the third party that owns him so unless West Ham can trash out a deal with MSI to get full ownership on Tevez, the move might not materialize.

Milan cook up 89m Ronny bid AC Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi is reportedly prepared to pay a mind-boggling 89million to prise Ronaldinho from Barcelona. Spanish daily AS claims that Berlusconi is prepared to pay the 125 million Euros required to trigger Ronaldinho's buy-out clause at Barca. The report claims that Milan will make a series of bids for the Brazilian forward, but if they do not succeed then such is Berlusconi's desire to bring him to the San Siro, he will meet the enormous buy-out clause, which would comfortably break the world transfer record currently held by Real Madrid, who paid 45.6million for Zinedine Zidane in 2001. AS goes on to claim that an agreement has already been reached between Ronaldinho and Milan that will see him sign a five-year contract worth around 6million a year, plus exclusive image rights. Ronaldinho has been in extensive contract negotiations with the Catalan giants to improve his current deal, which runs until 2010. However talks have stalled, leaving the prospect of the Brazilian joining the European champions open. |
Capone (ex-cagliari) is rumoured to be going on trial with celtic.
Liverpool have confirmed that Ryan Babel will move to Anfield
