DIRECTIONS TO THE NRE ppl:


From Toronto / St. Catharines / Niagara Falls/ USA:

* Take the QEW to Highway 406 South (St. Catharines)
* Take Highway 406 to Merritt Road (the second set of stoplights) and turn right
* The next stop light is Niagara Street. Turn left on to Niagara Street
* We are on the corner of Merritt and Niagara!



From Wainfleet / Port Colborne / Fort Erie:

* Take Highway 3 into Port Colborne
* Take Highway 140 North into Welland
* Highway 140 ends at Main Street (there is a stop light here)
* Turn left at the stop light and go under the Welland Canal (Main Street Tunnel)
* Turn right at the first stop light on to Highway 406.
* The second stop light on Highway 406 is Merritt Road, turn left on to Merritt
* The next stop light is Niagara Street. Turn left on to Niagara Street
* We are on the corner of Merritt and Niagara!





Crossing the Border - You do NOT need a passport to drive into Canada this year!

In order to legally cross the border by car or bus into Canada from the USA you must have a valid driver's license or a passport. If you do not have a valid driver's license or passport you must have another form of government issued photo ID backed up by a birth certificate. When entering Canada from any other country other than the USA you must have a valid passport. We strongly suggest that you contact your local immigration authorities if you have any questions or concerns.
Please note that you may need a passport to cross the border by ground in 2008.

PARKING AND RV INFO


Paid parking at WEMF2007 will be on-site and in the camping area. Most patrons will likely be able to park at their campsite. If you do not wish to park at your campsite or the campsite parking area is full you may also park in the designated overflow area, also located right on the event grounds.


You are permitted to bring licensed Recreational Vehicles of any size to WEMF2007. There will be a limited number of hydro and water hook-ups available for a fee on a first-come, first-serve basis by purchasing a WEMF2007 RV ticket at any Ticketmaster location in Canada or Western NY. Information on pre-reservation of serviced sites can be obtained at wemf.com. There are also a limited number of water hookups available to be shared throughout the RV area. Overflow non-serviced sites will also be available.

VENUE

As is the WEMF tradition, we like to keep things new and exciting by updating our venue each year. If this is your first WEMF, expect to find a scenic location with ample space for parking, camping and the biggest party of its kind in Canada! For WEMF veterans, rest assured that we have taken the time to once again select a spot that fits the needs of this amazing event. With flat grassy fields for camping and parking along with massive hanger like structures to house the main dance stages, this year's spot is the ideal location for WEMF2007.

The location for WEMF2007 is the Niagara Regional Exhibition (NRE) in Welland, Ontario.

Respect yourself. Respect the Environment. Please clean your camping area prior to departure. Use the garbage and recycling bins that will be located throughout the site whenever you want to dispose of any item. R.O.A.R. (Right of Admission Refusal) is in effect. All vehicles and persons subject to search prior to entry. No weapons. No glass. No illegal substances. No attitude. This is an over-16 event. You must be over 19 and carry valid government issued identification to be permitted to bring or consume alcoholic beverages. You may only consume alcohol at your campsite or within licensed areas. Alcohol found in possession of or in vehicles containing minors will be confiscated at the gate upon arrival or anywhere throughout event grounds. All glass bottles and containers will also be confiscated.

man wtf is with the no campfire rule? last year in tweed the free campfire was so key
