Thanks everyone!
I been researching heavily over the last 2 months, gearin up for this event.
I still have lots of tracks to go through, and have been sampling more that have come through the mail this week. Was up until 4AM to give the system a test run again. I started feeling dizzy around 4ish, so I went to bed.
This IS a big night for me, and I want to make sure I give Above & Beyond a proper entry. I've never missed a show when they come out to town.
Teknotexan, ill be playing from 11-1. If people arrive early enough, perhaps Ill be able to open the room a bit earlier.
The challenges Im facing with this set is a few to no trance tracks will be played. few meaning a max of (2) trance tracks if any, no epic trance like your acustom to hearing from me, and they wont be anthems.
y2yen, I might have it, and I got your txt message last night.
The myspace invitation I sent out for this event was only to notify people about the event, show the video and notification of presales. I carry no guestlist for this Friday. Sorry guys, 1015 did not give me one this time around.
Blurr, you are going to do so awesome! I'm sorry I'm going to miss this amazing night. I'll be thinking about all of you this weekend.

so did my friend, lol. goodwill could really do well from club donations.
so what time does Above and Beyond come on? I don't want to be late cause I'm also picking up a buddy of mine in Richmond. And, how long will they be spinning? I'm sure this has all been discussed, but there's 16 pages...

Unfortunately there will only be 2 of the guys from Above & Beyond coming. I made a mistake on this. My apologies for any disappointment.

A&B in the top 3 for TAs top 250... or at least i think cause theyre no where in the 4-250 positions

Tonights the night....
Im leaving work today around 3:30, to get a few things done before I head to the club, and to clear a few things out before I leave the studio. I spent the latter of last night until 4AM making last minute adjustments to my system and setup. Ive also burned 10 or so CDs as a backup just incase I need to use the CDJs...
Someone asked me the other day how I felt about opening up for Above & Beyond. I jokingly said it hasent really hit me...
Well, today it did. Im excited, and nervous. Not nervous about playing.... Nervous that I really wanna do a great job being the opener for A&B because they are in my personal top 5 Djs of all time.
Its been a real dream of mine to open for them since I seen them way back when they played live as Oceanlab.
I wanna look out onto the crowd tonight and see smiles. Its gonna be fuckin awsome. What a great way to get the weekend started proper.
Tonight, although I wont be playing my standard epic trance, I dedicate this set my my late friend Todd Dao Nguyen. R.I.P. Rockin through the years ravin together, I only wish he was here to see tonight.

now i'm just closing out the work week listening to A&B's essential mix from back in 2004... when i discovered them. hoping to sneak out of work early, and then see everyone there!
