Can we get an actual full review, in detail?
I heard Blurr played some type of classics trance set? (I don't even want to think about what I should think about that if it's the case, lol.). Hello Kernkraft 400.
Heard Rank 1 played pretty housey.
Thanks Blurr for the Rank 1 shirt! Totally wearing it to work tomorrow lol.

BTW, Thanks you guys for the photos, emails and txt messages with your Rank1 shirt! I tried to get everyone in the front of the booth when Piet was playing to take a group pic with the TShirt, but we failed.
hehe.

Hey Dave!
Im glad you got one. Everyone who wanted one pretty much got oneAre you wearing it today?
A view from the Djs eye.
Everyone,
Thanks for coming out on Saturday. After having such a long grueling week at work, It was good to finally let the demons out and play some Trance, Breaks & Electro. Those of you came at the beginning of my set caught a new remix of Andains - Beautiful Things. Yes, It was a Breaks. Remix.
As far as experimenting goes, and in an effort to be more versatile, I started toying around with other genres. Since I started, Im learing there is also a way to play these tracks as well, and you cant just play one or 2 to satisfy. Im on a journey myself to discover new Genres, and youll be hearing a wider variety from me, not just Trance.
I do personally think I overdid it a bit, and ended up getting into the classic groove too much... I blame myself for this because I actually was taking to take out a track in my play list, Yes, that track was Marco V, a Higher State of Consciousness. This was not meant to be played, Well, not that remix anyways, I had it in my play list by accident, and ended up playing the more bangin, Marco V Remix!!!!!!!!
Everyone seemed to love the sound coming from the main room. Dave, if you would have been there you would have loved the sound. Its the best I have heard the mainroom in a long time. I looked up at the blue room and noticed there was some sort of wall up there, so Im sure thats why it sounded so bumpin Saturday. Looking at the Jellyfish controller that controls the sound in the main room, it was up at 8+.
Looking over the crowd at the beginning of my set to around 11:30, the room was already getting full. Most of my guest list party showed up and gathered in the front couple rows, and I proceeded to hand out the T-Shirts to not only TAs, but some of the crowd as I promised. Within 10 minutes, all but 2 Shirts remained of the 50 2Tall and I had printed for this event. I looked around the club and caught people who had them on! Our next run with these T-Shirts will include women tank tops, and Ill have enough to cover mostly everyone. I hope you all love em. By the looks of my commission check, T-Shirts will be standard for all my future events at 1015. So, from here on out, expect to walk away from a night when im booked with with something commemorating the night.
Around 12:20, I began passing out my newest mixed CD, Separate Skies. Thank you to Thomas Phan for helping me print 200 of them. I had an extra 150 at the studio. A total of 350 Discs. Whats was also awesome was one of my best friends Russ posted up and helped me label all the discs, which is why he kinda didnt say anything there and just stood there in the booth doing nothing.
By the end of my set, only 26 remained. For the Thrillseekers event, Im going to increase the number of CDs to 600.
12:35 or so Rank1 Stepped into the booth tapping me on my back to say hello. I proceeded to pick up the mic and m/c him in asking if the crowd was ready for Rank1. A roaring cheer of a now fully packed mainroom said they were.
The highlight of my night is when Piet came to me in the booth and says Dont let them intimidate you, you play what you want who cares what they say.
My reply was no, no, no, no, no, no, nooooo. While I appreciated the comment from Rank1, I did not feel like getting ripped a new asshole.
I ended the night with slowing down the trance at arounud 12:40, beginning my ending with a breaks remix, and 2 electro tracks. I will post the tracklist later so Dave can rip me a new one.
All in all, how did it feel having open for Rank1? Blessed. Rank1 did not disappoint, he came through and even played his classic tunes, and what sounded to be, a newer remix of Awakening? After attending Trance Energy and Sensation in the past, being able to open for someone of his caliber is something to rave about. I hope I get the chance again in the future.
I did let him know that I would send him all pics and video of the night.
This weekends been a long one for me, and spent some time with my Mom since shes here from overseas stayin. Its good to have her back for a while, and I took her shopping yesterday Those of you who do not have family, your welcome to come to our house for Thanksgiving also. My friends have always been family to me. Come join me for some Turkey if you want over this weekend!

Had a blast!! I might not remember details of too many specific tracks, but bottom line is that between Blurr, Rank1 and Taj, I spent about 95%+ of the night in the main room, which is rarity for me. I'm normally way more impatient.
Thanks 2Tall!
Everyone, it wasent just me behind the TShirt Idea this weekend, 2Tall definitely came through with the hook on getting us those fine printed silkscreen T's!
I have to get some of the pics I shot during my set. I snapped a bunch of TA's pimpin their shirt up.
ATTENTION: The CD Seperate Skies was also labeled with information on an event I would be playing at called Trancegiving in the Southbay. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be playing at this event, but will be playing with Vahid upstairs in the VIP this coming Saturday.
Those of you who have messaged me on myspace, and emailed me, please note Ill be sending out a blast this evening. So check your event invites later this evening!
Lastly, those of you who have been enrolled on the guestlist at 1015 for Rank1, you are automatically enrolled for my guestlist at 1015 again this coming saturday!
