I wanna go on that new boeing plane that's scheduled for i think 2009. But why when they build bigger planes don't they make toilets that you can stand up in? I mean I'm only 175cm and have to bend my neck in some

Posted by Jackson on Apr-23-2008 22:32:

Actually, some guy on militaryphotos.net forum noticed the GPS Coordinates that are seen in the top left of the screen and then checked the location google earth, its well within Georgian airspace apparently.

the Boeing Dreamliner aka 787 ..its been delayed by 3 more months due to some structural problems where the wings meet the fuselage.

It's nothing that they didn't expect. They actually were prepared for it, and so already had a team of engineers working on the problem but they still had to delay it.

its no different than when you're sitting on the tarmac ready to go and you hear an announcement, "ladies and gentlemen, this is your cap't speaking....we have an "unexpected delay" with some maintenance...we should be up in the air shortly"

Posted by Clovis on Apr-23-2008 23:31:

Would you guys rather they swept such problems under the rug and forgot about them? LMAO. Shit this is what safety IS.

Maybe because you are Russian its hard to believe?

I am sure Georgia has proof that they were in Georgia, or else they would not show this to everyone. And stupid UAV? those things are very expensive, plus its an attack on their country, they are not blowing anything out of proportion.

I'm flying with the Airbus A380 from Singapore to London in late June and on my way back from Singapore to Sydney in early August.

Really looking forward to it, though I just hope they don't get grounded again. That would shit me. At least I get two chances to check the beast out

Take pictures if you could! I'd love to see the interior.

Yea will do, though that brings up an interesting point. Are you actually allowed to take pictures on an airplane?

Can't say I've ever seen it done before, and I've flown A LOT.

Well I don't want press photos. I want real perspective photos from people who aren't paid to make the airplane look good.

They aren't press photos. Airliners.net is independent and most of the photogs are amateurs. The pictures are moderated quite heavily on airliners.net for quality though. They wouldn't reject them for making the plane look good or bad though.
