A post from 'Dogs On Acid' D&B forum about the DSI, I thought was interesting.
the prophet series and evolvers CAN sound similar, honestly I think the evolver has more flexibility in the long run, but cant get to certain frequencies as well as the prophet/tetra's
i personally think the eviolvers are pretty weak in the low end, where as the prophet is a killer if you know how to tweek it....it aint a moog, but if you have a moog and a prophet, you have a match made in heaven :-D

QUESTION - I have just got my Moog Rogue working again after stripping it down for a few hours last night (finger cutz from too much PCB contact to boot).
I have'nt heard the Moog in years as it was broken. Looking to get it hooked into the studio when my RME interface comes (to replace a faulty Steinberg interface) shortly.
Now I was planning to sell it and buy something more modern like a TETRA.
My need is analogue rounded lovely bass.
Am I doing the right thing flogging the Moog?
