i can do it too, but recently i find that near the end just before its time for me to wake up, the dream becomes uncontrollable and has really strange twists

I can lucid dream, ive done it a few times actually. I just turn on music and drift away
. Everyone who reads this should rent the movie "Waking Life" . It deals with Lucid dreaming !
tried to do it for the first time last night, and i succeeded but only for about a minute.
I went in consciously and i could feel my eyes doing the rem thing and i knew i was doing at which point i became wicked excited (i felt kind high) and i tried to spin and calm myself down but i lost my focus and woke up.
Then i fell asleep and had a normal shitty ass dream. And to make things worse, i shut off my alarm clock subconsciously so i ended up waking up at 8:30 instead of 6:15 like i should have, so i was late for school
guess i need to practice more.
