only beef i have with this game is driving. Are those suspensions made of jello ? wtf very annoying

Without trying to spoil anything for anyone, the "robbery" mission (those who've played it will know which one I'm talking about) is one of the most epic gaming experiences I've ever had

Brilliantly executed.

I'm actually liking the new driving system, I mean, you have to slow down considerably to take turns without spinning out of control, which is more realistic than previous GTAs.

The one where you have to fight with the FBI for about a half an hour? Yeah, t'was massive.

hell yeah that mission is the shit. just like being in the movie heat. i save after every mission in cause the next one is like that so i can re-do it when ever i want

Posted by RJT on May-06-2008 16:24:

Indeed. The mission took me forever, but it was so much fun.

And the way the driving mechanics work by the time you've unlocked all the cars is ace - I wouldn't have it any other way. I really went from absolutely hating it to loving it, and the chase missions, because of it.

Yeah but apparently he did not chose the tracks. Unless he's into Deadmau5 now :/

I really wanna check out the Jazz station though, it looks great.

He is and he did. To be honest, the Deadmau5 remix of No Pressure really, really bothered me when I first heard it because I felt like he massacred the original. Now, however, I've grown to like it but ONLY in the context of hearing 3 to 4 minutes of it while driving in GTA. It's still not a very good tune at all, but for some reason it really works in this game (and no where else).

Jazz and funk stations are both great, so is one of the hip hop stations, and all three talk radio stations.

I think it's just that they play so little of it and that you get Francois K talking over it.

Seriously though, there is some cheesy shit on that station that I just love because of where it is.

What would a metropolitan radio station be without popular cheese?

I'm just glad that fuckface in MD hasn't said "his tracks made it into GTA5, THATS influence!"

You've got to give him credit for his persistence - that fucking bellend is without a doubt the single worst case of stubborn "See no/hear no/speak no evil" BS I've seen on TA in quite some time.

Take-Two proves crime does pay.

Take-Two coughed up Grand Theft Auto IV's first-week sales numbers early this morning, and as predicted, they're absolutely huge. The free-roaming crime drama racked up over $500 million in worldwide sales over its first week, setting a new record for interactive entertainment. The previous record holder, Halo 3, "only" mustered about $300 million.
GTA IV's whopping tally corresponds to about six million copies, of which a touch over half were sold on the game's April 29 launch day. In a press release, Take-Two's chairman, Strauss Zelnick, heralded the game's release as "the largest launch in the history of interactive entertainment" and went on to claim it has surpassed any movie or music launch to date.
We're not going to argue. Iron Man's May 2 launch, heralded as a tremendous success, sucked up about 100 million of our hard-earned dollars over the weekend, and even current box-office kingpin Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End sailed away with a mere $142 million. Even though GTA IV's producer, Leslie Benzies, was recently quoted in The Times estimating the game cost approximately $100 million to develop -- making it the most expensive game ever made -- today's announcement should put a smile on the face of every Take-Two employee.

I been playing since Wednesday of last week and it is fun. I just love using the cop computer and all to call for back up. Had a lady try and rough me up when I accidentally ran her over and called for back up and they hauled her away lol.
