So please, spare me the "why doesn't he use it to it's potential" rubbish. It's a fucking piece of plastic like all other MIDI controllers, you slut. |

| Originally posted by MrJiveBoJingles Honestly, put up a thick curtain around the booth, and people wouldn't be able to tell whether it was Sasha and Digweed or two other similarly skilled DJs -- lots of them exist, guys, whether you want to believe it or not -- playing similar tunes to whatever S&D were spinning at the time. |

| Originally posted by Nostalgic I'm not a S&D worshipper by any means, I've been heavily critical of them the past couple years, but nobody was playing what they were playing in the 90s. |

| Originally posted by MrJiveBoJingles Well, yeah, back then you had the access barrier of vinyl distribution in place, so it was easier for big DJs to get stuff that nobody else could and maintain their exclusive status that way. |

Really I dont think you have an idea how hard producer's work to wrestle their way onto a Sasha or Digweed tracklist. Many producers cater their music to their style of the moment. |
do i have to post the i <3 clovis and bas pic? thats worth a google or 2.

Originally posted by RJT I can't think of all that many DJ's who aren't playing better music than those fellows at this point. |
I don't see why any decent human being can't just say "excuse me I can't talk right now" or "excuse me I'm in a rush" rather than completely ignoring someone. That said, I'm sure all those hours on the road does get to you eventually, but none of that even matters at this point cuz this thread has turned into such a clusterfuck.

| Originally posted by Nostalgic So how much of the stuff they were playing were distributed exclusively to them? The only tracks I can think of that were distributed only to them were the Breeder tracks. |
By the way, I haven't really followed Sasha and Digweed for a while and have little clue what they play anymore -- what are they playing anyway? -- so it's not like I have some big stake in the outcome of this argument.
