Tonight will be the first night I haven't had to d/l in ages. I am looking forward to it! All the bitches need to go. They are ALL fucking crazy. Jerry can be included in as one of the bitches as well. That hypocrite needs to go.

I hope Ollie or Memphis win it all.

WOah.... April needs to go.

And i don't get it... they were gun hoe on getting rid of Keesha and then once again... no one has the balls to get rid of her....

What a show....

Me too cribs! Very surprised by this actually. I didnt like him at all at first. Ive really come to respect him.

Hell, even Renny i can deal with now that shes not acting retarded as she did w/ jessie around.

i hope that either dan or memphis (or hell, even renny i guess now) wins.

April though i dont hate, shes too shallow for me to want her to win. and though i think its kinda cute the way she carries so much weight w/ ollie and how he puts her on such a pedestal, for those reasons i dont see either one of those two win the game!

Bitch is gone now, and I'm ever so happy abt that. Finally.

(She just thought too much of herself, I thought.)

Talking 'Big Brother 10': Mother, mother

By Carrie Raisler
August 14, 06:09 PM

If Big Brother 10 would like to teach us anything the season it's this: a mother's place is in the home and nowhere else. At least, that's what it seems they are implying considering every question directed at mother Libra is about how horrible she is for leaving her children to come on a reality show. Lighten up, BB!

Before we get to the episode, let's recap! Jerry totally lost his remaining marbles over Dan's betrayal, Michelle won HoH and nominated Libra and Keesha, Jerry won POV and threatened to use it but ultimately did not, calling Dan "Judas" in the process, Keesha tried to turn Michelle against April, Libra revealed that Keesha was actually the mastermind of Jessie's eviction.

Let me pause before beginning the recap to say...Julie looks absolutely lovely tonight! Sure, her sweater is a weird color of green and is strangely sparkly, but it works for her. Good job, Mrs. Chen. The taped package picks up right after the POV ceremony as the house reacts to Jerry's insane speech. Dan tries to apologize but Libra cuts him off in disgust, saying "It's just a game, guys." Preach it, Libra. Memphis is excited to finally have some evidence to illustrate his "Jerry sucks" theory and immediately goes to Michelle crowing about how Jerry needs to be taken out. Libra and Keesha attempt to console Dan, who acts sad around them but reveals in the diary room that he thinks everything is actually going his way. Is it? Really? Getting sympathy is not the same thing as gaining allies, Dan.

Also continuing on the hating bent is April, who is angry that Keesha isn't getting any of the fallout for masterminding Jessie's eviction. April bitches to Ollie about how Keesha is just super jealous of how awesome and pretty and perfect and smart she is, and that's why Keesha hates her. The double take Ollie gives at this very matter-of-fact statement from April is priceless, but ultimately he says "yeah, yeah, yeah" in response, although his face is more like "Really?" Perhaps Keesha hates April because she makes statements like that. It's just a theory I'm working on. While Dan and Memphis form a secret alliance to the end which they name the Renegades, April and Ollie start scheming about how they can get Keesha evicted instead of Libra. The problem? The vote hinges on Dan going against his alliance again, which April seems to think is no problem. Unfortunately they're not aware of the Renegades in their midst! You see how I worked in that stupid alliance name, right there? I'm glad they didn't call themselves the All Holy and Awesome Masters of the Universe. That would be a bit more awkward to work into a sentence, albeit a much cooler alliance name.

Libra approaches Dan about switching his vote to keep her in the house, and Dan weighs his options in the diary room, stating that if he votes Keesha to the jury at this point she will hold a huge grudge against him, but if Libra stays in the house that would leave a big target in there that would potentially deflect attention away from him for a few weeks. I admire his attempt to deflect attention away from himself at all costs, but I don't necessarily think it is working. The boy is going to have to win an HoH competition sometime soon, or he's going home. He's under no one's radar (unlike Ollie and Renny, who seem to be sitting very pretty at this point in the game.)

This week's background package is all about Libra and her family's reaction to the backlash against her for going on the show when she has such small children. Because this dead horse hasn't been beaten enough already this season. Soon all is better, though, because we see her cute, cute babies! Squee! Sorry about that. I'm helpless against being cheesy when presented with adorable children. Her husband thoughtfully explains that he completely supported her decision to go on the show and to take the Hawaiian vacation instead of the letter from home. Then we see Libra's family reaction to Michelle's horrible words about Libra as a mother (calling her a skank and a whore and saying her children should be taken away) and needless to say, it's pretty uncomfortable. Thank goodness her children are still too young to watch this show.

The houseguest Q&A this week centers around the main drama in the house right now: Dan and his religion. When Julie asks Dan if his faith affects his gameplay, he admits that it does but despite that he still hasn't represented his faith perfectly and will be going to a marathon Confession session when he gets out of the house. When Jerry is questioned, he maintains that he feels Dan used religion as a prop and then stabbed him in the back. Shut your piehole, Jerry. Let me show you Natalie from last season and then we'll talk about using religion as a prop in this game. Memphis then awkwardly says as long as Dan doesn't hang himself like Judas everything will be cool, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Suicide is funny! Except not really, Memphis. He then mumbles something about personal attacks being bad, but I was still too distracted by the horror of his suicide sort-of joke to catch it. In the HoH room, Michelle says that she regrets her words about Libra in regards to her fitness as a mother, but maintains that she still should have taken the letter instead of the vacation. Bitterness runs deep in Rhode Island, apparently.

Now, the live vote! Unlike last week, I'm much less certain that the previous half hour was anything more than an attempt to create dramatic tension where there really is none...and my theory is right, with Libra being evicted 6-0. The best part of the very anti-climactic live vote is Ollie calling Julie "Mrs. Julie" instead of "Julie Mama" for once. Looks like someone got a talking to, huh? Libra leaves the house with a lot of class, telling her houseguests to "have a good time and enjoy this game." Not likely to happen, but a nice sentiment anyway, Libra. Her exit interview with Julie is equally classy, but the incessant focus on Libra leaving her children to come on the show is really starting to grate. Would a father of six-month-olds be asked these same questions? She handles the question with ease, saying that she left her family to hopefully do something for her family and win the $500,000. Sounds like a good enough reason to me. Now STOP ASKING HER ABOUT IT ALREADY.

This weeks HoH competition is called "Diary Room Confessions." It's your basic "who knows their evicted houseguests best" game, with the houseguests having to guess which evicted houseguest said what in the diary room. The twist is that if you get a question right you can eliminate someone else from the game. If you get it wrong, you are eliminated. Renny gets the first question right and eliminates April. Dan gets the second question right and eliminates Jerry. Ollie answers before the next question is even finished being read and gets it wrong, eliminating himself. Genius move, Ollie. Memphis then gets one wrong and is out. Dan gets the next one wrong and is eliminated, which leaves Keesha and Renny to duke it out for the win. Then...Renny gets the final question right and wins! She is quite emotional about her win, but not in the annoying showboating way that most people are, which is refreshing. Silent tears I can take. Insane screaming and that awkward jumping/hugging combination I cannot.

What will Renny do? Considering her close ties with Keesha, I have a feeling things aren't looking too good for April this week. What do you guys think?

Favorite Quotes:

"It's because I'm prettier than her." - The ever-humble April, on why Keesha hates her

"She sounds like a hyena when she's laughing. It's deadly. It's awful. I feel sorry for America who has to sit and listen to it as well." - April, who is apparently auditioning for Mean Girls 2

"Yeah, there's that bipolarism." - Libra's mother, in response to Michelle saying Libra should have her children taken away

King 'Big Brother 10' No lemonade

By Jessica Paff
August 17, 06:58 PM

I feel sorry for the editors on Big Brother 10. Usually I think they attempt to create some sort of theme for an episode. At least, I can usually find something that ties it all together somewhat. Tonight, however, we learned that sometimes life gives you lemons and that's all you get. Sweetness becomes a myth. Other times, you get lollipops, but I am not sure where to take that metaphor. Besides, we must review before we get to that!

Michelle put Keesha and Libra on the block and Jerry won the PoV and keeping with house tradition did nothing with it. Libra promised Keesha she wouldn't campaign and then revealed that Jessie's eviction was all Keesha's plan. Too little, too late, however, and Libra got the boot. Renny proved she knew everyone better then they thought and won HoH in the process.

Keesha is rather jubilant, congratulating herself on being more well liked then Libra. I assume no one wants to break the news to her that the reality is that she's no where near as effective manipulator as Libra was. Memphis and Keesha are both overjoyed with Renny's win, assuring their safety this week, while Ollie, April and Jerry are more than a little nervous. Ollie and April try to talk about the game, but everywhere they go, Jerry follows them. Not to talk...just to be in the room. Usually either staring at them or at a wall. It's a bit odd, but that's sort of what we've come to expect from Jerry, isn't it? Well, that and hate speech about other people's religion.

Memphis decides to move into Libra's old bed, taking care to wash the sheets first. This makes Renny nervous, as it means he will be rooming with Keesha alone all week while she takes up residence in the HoH room, allowing him to bend the blond's ear. And we've all seen how easily she can be talked into switching her alliances. Renny tries to warn Keesha off, telling her the he will not take her to the end of the game because he's in the game to win money. As opposed to why everyone else is there? No one on this show is curing cancer, obviously. I never understand the animosity that comes over people trying to get the money. Why else be there? For the dubious fame of being known as a whiny jack-a$$? Whatevs.

Ollie and April take some time to whisper in bed about trying to get Jerry on the block with April, all while Jerry is in the room with them. They also discuss their relationship, over a series of several clips, including one in which Ollie asks April to marry him and she turns to the camera asking if America heard that. We did. And we weep for you both. This will all end in tears, I just know it. Perhaps even open sobbing, such as we see when Renny's HoH room is revealed and she sees photos of her parents. She wails "Mama!" so often that the guys don't even want to step into the room and after a few awkward moments the girls try to gracefully exit to give her some time to collect herself. Except she wails "NO! Stay!" and so the girls drag the guys in because if they have to endure this, so should they.

Later on, Renny visits with Michelle in her room to discuss strategy. Sort of. Renny asks if Michelle wins next week, would she put her on the block? Michelle tells her absolutely not, but Renny asks her to swear on a bible and then ups the ante by asking her to swear on her parents. Both of which Michelle agrees to. Renny tells her that while she likes Keesha a lot, she sees what's going on between her and "the guys". Is Memphis's ego so big that they have to refer to him in a plural tense now?

The Food Competition brings on the gross, giving us BB's version of paper-rock-scissors. In this game slop beats pig ears, pig ears beat crickets and crickets beat slop. The teams break down into Michelle, April and Dan versus Ollie, Jerry and Memphis, with Keesha serving. We see Dan and Michelle eat crickets, Memphis, April and Michelle eat pig ears and Jerry gag down a bowl of slop. Which is all he's eaten for the last 19 days and which will continue, as his team loses. However, in a new twist, they are told America voted for them to have one more food option. They all warily consider the consequences of that, but Ollie is overjoyed when they get back inside to see hundreds of giant lollipops laid out for them. Jerry realizes he can't get his fiber from them and frowns.

Between all this, BB tries to throw in its usual light hearted moments. There's a game of keep-away pitting the house against April and a mangy stuffed poodle and the reveal that Ollie is apparently deathly afraid of birds. It's a phobia he chalks up to the classic film by - as he says - "Alfred Hitchock". He also informs the house that birds are the direct descendants of dinosaurs. Methinks someone has seen Jurassic Park a few too many times. Crows are not Velociraptors. Heck, even Velociraptors aren't Velociraptors - at least not as portrayed by Hollywood. But I digress.

Back up in the HoH, Dan asks Renny if he is in danger and she admits that she is considering using him as a pawn in order to break up the trio of Ollie, April and Jerry. He tells her that he is surprised by that and points out that with his vote, Memphis, Keesha, and Michelle, they can take out whomever she wants, but if she puts him up with someone, the house is more evenly matched. It's a bit of logic that she doesn't catch onto, as Memphis walks in and she poses the same scenario with him as the pawn. Memphis says absolutely not, because historically, the pawn always goes home. A moment later and they are joined by Michelle and Keesha, to whom Renny mentions the same option. Neither of them are happy with it either, and Memphis points out Dan's earlier logic. Again, Renny doesn't seem to catch on, as she asks where Ollie's head is at. No one knows, so she asks them to fetch him for her.

When Ollie gets to the room, Renny kicks everyone else out. She asks him what he would do if April was evicted and he tells her that he is there to play the game. However, he also points out that Jerry and Memphis already have a little bit of money. He continues, adding that Jerry has managed to tick off every one in the house at some point or other. He ends his speech by saying it's her call, but that it seems to him there are bigger fish to fry in the house. Which seems true on the surface, but so far Ollie has managed to stay off everyone's radar, while getting some booty. I'm thinking that makes him a player. And a playa.

Renny deliberates and everyone acts antsy as they all realize Renny is known for general wackiness and they really have no idea who she will put up. All the same, I am not at all surprised when she puts up April and Jerry. She tells Aprils she's a "tough cookie woman" and basically informs Jerry it's a case of quid quo pro, since he put her up when he was HoH. Keesha is ticked that Ollie is not on the block, likely because he never pays her a lick of attention, while April sets her sights on antagonizing Jerry into blowing up at someone to make him a bigger target.

Are we bidding the most boring showmance ever farewell or is the Colonel being dishonorably discharged? How many HGs will need dentists at the end of the week, after all those lollipops? And most important, am I still Billy Bob's favorite Aunt? Share your thoughts!

Lightbulb 'Big Brother 10' Big boys don't cry!

By Jessica Paff
August 19, 07:52 PM

Big Brother 10 continued to be utterly shocking tonight, with the players pulling out all the stops to create dynamic twists and turns, upending alliances and double crossing their partners in ways that no one saw coming! At least in my own little Utopian dream world that is what happened. Reality was about the polar opposite of that.

But you know we review first! Renny won the HoH, which relieved Keesha, Memphis and Dan, as she immediately drew one target on April. The other was up in the air, though everyone else wanted her to pick Ollie to break up the showmance. However, Ollie suggested Jerry to Renny and she went after the opportunity to pay the Colonel back for nominating her all those weeks ago. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, baby!

Jerry tells us big boys don't cry, while April cries. Ollie is happy he stayed off the block, while no one else shares his sentiment. Memphis and Dan have a chat about getting April out and discuss the likelihood of Renny putting up Ollie if the PoV is won and used (for once). They come to the conclusion that Renny would not put up Ollie, thus putting one of them in danger. How they come to their certainty about this conclusion, I have no idea, and frankly I feel it's better not to speculate about stupidity. Don't you?

Meanwhile, Ollie and April talk about one of them must win the PoV and take her off the block. Ollie also tells her that Jerry is the best person in the world for her to be on the block against, because he's made so many enemies in the house. And she hasn't? She continues crying and he tries to console her until she snaps that the house needs to see her upset. He tells her that she's playing like a kid and she tells him that she doesn't need that sort of attitude from him right now. Ahhhh, L'Amour! It's true love, obviously.

Keesha joins Renny up in the HoH room, where Keesha asks about the nominations. Renny basically admits the putting Jerry up was personal, just because she wanted to. Keesha asks if she made a deal with Ollie and Renny tells her no, that she just likes Ollie.Which is curious, since Ollie primarily just talks to April and I am not sure most of the other HGs even know who he is. And I don't think any of us know who Jerry is, as we get a brief montage of him talking to himself. On a side note: What's with the red and yellow Marines shirt paired with the baby blue trousers and black belt? And why do old men ALL have a pair of baby blue trousers? Are they issued them at the Social Security office along with their subscription to AARP? What gives?

Moving on, the PoV picks work out to Renny, April and Jerry with Dan, Keesha and, much to everyone's chagrin, Ollie. April is convinced Fate is pulling through for them, while Ollie is convinced people are praying for them. Those are sort of diametrically opposed belief systems they have there. Keesha, Dan and Memphis all whine to each other about how Ollie getting chosen was the worst thing that could have happened. The go even further, speculating on more worst care scenarios, with Memphis rounding the bend on crazy when he says that he doesn't understand why Renny would make Ollie feel so special while treating he, Dan and Keesha like crap and putting them on the block. Which...huh?

PoV Competition
Michelle, who is hosting the PoV, comes out with some sort of atrocious red curly wig with white streaks. At least, I hope it is a wig, or spray on hair color, because it looks awful. The competition is the standard BB amount guessing game, with the added complication of players getting to stay or fold their estimation. The one closest to correct wins, the one furthest is eliminated and the first with 3 points wins. Jerry quickly gains two points for himself, but soon enough he is overtaken by Dan, who wins it all.

Dan immediately considers using the PoV to take Jerry down and put Ollie up, guaranteeing the end of the showmance. He meets up with Jerry in the storeroom, and Jerry immediately apologizes for calling him a Judas last week. Someone lacks the courage of his convictions. Jerry characterizes himself as a "Streetfighter", which leads me to visual him throwing fireballs while rasping out "Hadouken!!", but that is probably just me. Dan thanks him for the apology and DRs that if he takes Jerry off the block, he will have no enemies in the house. Um...except Renny, Dan.

The Montage of Levity tonight is all about Renny giving Dan a haircut. She sits him in a chair and flips her clippers on and he immediately asks if they can discuss what she's about to do first. She tells him no, they can't, because she's the hairdresser and he's not. He starts to pray aloud and she tells him "Shut up, or I'm scalping the crap out of you". He then asks her how short she's going to cut it, only to have her reply "As short as I want to". Oh please please please tell me she talks to her actual customers like this!

Note: You know it's a slow night when the BB editors include a montage about people mourning the loss of the big table.

April finds Dan, to talk about where his head is at with the PoV. She tells him that she doesn't feel safe in the house at all and asks him what Jerry offered him for the PoV use. Dan tells her that he didn't offer him anything, which leads her to offer her and Ollie's word that Dan would not go on the block if one of them won HoH next. Oh, and also, I dunno, maybe some cash throw in form the $5,000 BB Gold she has. Dan doesn't jump at the money, but instead takes the opportunity to plant a bomb in her brain by asking f she's wondered about whether or not Ollie and Renny are working together. April denies it is a possibility, but the seed is planted.

PoV Ceremony
Before deciding what to do with the PoV, Dan goes to talk to Renny, to ask if she made a deal with Ollie. She tells him exactly what she told Keesha, she just likes Ollie. Dan then asks her what she would do if Jerry came off. She blankly asks him "If Jerry came off when?", which makes zero sense. Dan clarifies his question, only to have her answer that she would consider Dan a traitor if he used the PoV. So, that's she wrote. Dan doesn't use the PoV, and nothing changes. He does, however, reveal in his speech that one of the nominees offered him cash and his working class background made his decision really difficult. Which was a nice move on his part. Less nice is how April plans to remain in the game, as she says "I'm going to be a complete b*tch!".

Well, that's one tactic, I suppose. Again, I plan not to ponder it too hard because: Stupid!

amazing move on Dan. So conniving. I love it.

On a bad note... if he gets the final two, he's just secured 3 votes AGAINST him (IF Michelle and Ollie both end up in the Jury House).

These people in the house are stupid, mindless, and vindictive and do not make decisions based on the game.

I say Jump!

How high??

Even though I want Jerry gone... after Michelle's pyscho rant and acting as if she was gonna punch out the camera last night... they better get her out or I think there may be blood shed this season. So unstable.

Not necessarily. In past seasons the contestants have often voted for "who played the best game" regardless how pissed off they were at the person.

Ie. Evel Dick.

But I agree, GREAT move by Dan. Easily my favourite player. Love his speeches.

i totally agree with you about past seasons... but this year... I still remember Michelle last week "I want to vote to keep you in April...because we're allies. But if I vote to keep you I'll be targeted."

The house this year seems to think that the Head of Household runs the week. No backbones.

Dan proved otherwise last night.

Even though what you said is true, his alternative wasn't much better. If he followed through with his agreement, then he would have had to taken Gerry off the block and put up Keisha.

He would've definitely lost Keisha's vote and I'm guessing Renny & Memphis would lose the trust and alliance they had. So either piss off Ollie, Michelle & Gerry, or Keisha, Memphis & Renny.

He didn't really have much to choose.

But who knows. Thursday will definitely be interesting to see especially since its a double eviction night!

The only other time was when Keesha and Libra decided to vote out Jessie instead of Memphis. Libra took the fall for it but at least they tried to actually do something.

Does anybody notice the lack of yelling/fighting since Libra has left?

'Big Brother 10' The fallout

By Jessica Paff
August 26, 08:56 PM

The great thing about shows like Big Brother 10 is that no matter how much the people involved want to rewrite history, we've got evidence to the contrary. It's kind of beautiful, really.

But first, we must review! The HGs swung on vines into walls and pegged each other with dye filled water balloons, but the HoH winner was fuzzier then one might think. Dan and Ollie cut the strangest and perhaps stupidest deal ever, with Dan promising to protect Ollie and Michelle, let Ollie nominate a HG for elimination and have full control over any veto choice that might be necessary. Ollie exercised his nomination choice by telling Dan to put up Memphis, who he was in a secret alliance with. Which is when Dan confessed in the DR that his plan might backfire on him. Thanks for joining the rest of us, Dan!

So, Memphis and Jerry are on the block, which makes Ollie thrilled since, as he says "My hands are clean!" Memphis is less then thrilled and Jerry is a little worried. Dan tries to rationalize that the nomination choices are actual helpful because no one would ever think that an HoH would nominate the person they are in a secret alliance with. And there's a reason for that Dan - it's a dumb move.

After the nomination ceremony, Memphis comes up to the HoH room. Dan looks at him and asks if he is putting on an act or if he is really pissed and Memphis tells him it's real. I have to laugh out loud as Dan shows how clueless he is by saying "Well, I need you to keep it up in public" and Memphis says "I will. Because I REALLY am Pi$$ed!"

Dan talks to Keesha about how Memphis is nervous and Keesha counters "he should be", a sentiment Renny agrees with. She also figures that the deal was Ollie got to pick a nominee, and that he picked Memphis, as well as securing safety for himself and Michelle. Dan says he won't confirm or deny, but adds "You're a very smart lady", to make it clear that she is right. Why not just tell her?

He does tell them that if the PoV is used this week he won't put either of them up. Renny tells him that he better not, otherwise she will make him miserable. He tries to assure her that the decisions he's made this week were done with the best intentions towards their group, but Renny basically tells him to shut up, adding that actions speak louder then words. And cliche's are the loudest of all! Meanwhile, Ollie tells Jerry abut the deal he made with Dan. Ollie is still jubilant, but Jerry says he doesn't trust Dan to keep his word. Ollie foreshadows that if Dan double crosses him, all hell will be unleashed upon him. Like Judas?

All the HGs are asked to gather in the LR, where they are told that America has voted on one of them getting a phone call and they will find out who tomorrow. Michelle immediately goes to cry and Renny comforts her. Jerry also cries, confessing that in 54 years, this is the longest he and his wife have ever been apart. Proving the BB editors think we have no attention spans, the edit is clipped by a phone ringing. It's tomorrow!

A few of the HGs gather around the phone that has appeared in the LR and stare at it. Michelle asks several times "What should we do? Should we answer it? Is that what we are supposed to do?" before finally picking up the phone. It's for Jerry! His great-grandson monotones that he misses him and then hands the phone off the Jerry's wife. I miss most of what is said because I am awestruck by the fact that they have the exact same voice. Is that psychosomatic? Like sympathy pains during labor? They make small talk for a few minutes and Jerry asks if she thinks they've all been behaving well. She says "Well...." and he laughs. There was that part where you grabbed April's boobs, so you may want to be careful about what questions you ask your wife at this juncture, Jerry.

Dan, Memphis, Keesha and Renny all meet and talk about what the best case scenario would be. It is agreed upon that Michelle going home would be ideal, so they decide to focus on her during the PoV. The selected contestants are Dan, Jerry, Memphis, Renny, Keesha and Michelle. The game is the standard BB puzzle, but to get from the pieces to the board they have to move themselves along while dangling on a pulley. They will battle in 2 heats of 3 HGs each and the 2 that win those will race each other. In the race between Dan, Michelle and Keesha, Keesha wins. In the race between Jerry, Renny and Memphis, Memphis won. When it comes down to Memphis and Keesha, Memphis takes the PoV.

Dan shouts in the DR (seriously, the other HGs have to be able to hear him) that Ollie is dumb for thinking that he would give up all that power and honor their deal. He then tells Renny and Keesha that this was his plan all along. While I agree that Ollie was rather dumb to think he was getting such a free ride, I must disagree with the second part. We all watched Dan congratulate himself on setting up a scenario in which he got to win HoH, still appear weak and have the nominations fall without blood on his hands. We also saw the moment in which he admitted that his plan was backfiring on him, with Ollie wanting to put Memphis on the block. So, no way am I buying that this was some master plan all along. I CALL SHENANIGANS!

Anyway, Ollie is thrilled that Memphis won, because it means he gets to use his PoV control. How this eclipsed his desire to have Memphis out of the house I am not sure, but alrighty then. He cackles about how he is going to make Dan put up someone from his own alliance and I wonder if Dan might just a usurper to his throne. That would be the throne of dumb, for those playing along. But Ollie proves he's not completely clueless when he at least goes to ask Dan for reassurance that he is still holding to their agreement. Dan lies and says he is.

Up in the HoH, Memphis and Dan perform a victory dance. I suppose this means Memphis forgives him? I don't see why though, because Dan still put him up, he got himself down. Oh well, dancers need partners, I suppose. They talk some more about being sure Michelle is the best choice, since she is a tough competitor and a loose canon. Or, as Memphis says "She's a friend, but she's a b!tch". The pull Keesha and Renny in again and reveal the last part of Dan's deal, leading Renny to tell Dan he's a crap negotiator. Which is the smartest thing she has said all season!

What happens next, I am just bewildered by. Dan decides that he doesn't want to take heat for how this will all go down - meaning his ultimate betrayal of his deal with Ollie. so, he intends to turn the other HGs against each other. As such, he finds out that Ollie wants Keesha to replace Memphis on the block. But Dan asks him to say Renny and then gets Michelle to agree to say she wants Keesha on the block. For some reason, they agree to this.

THEN Dan goes to Renny and Keesha and tells them that he plans to go around a circle and have everyone name another HG at the ceremony. He asks Keesha to say Michelle's name and she readily agrees. He then asks Renny to say Ollie's name, but she seems reticent and asks him to explain what it is he's trying to accomplish and what's in it for her to name Ollie. Dan bypasses all that by telling her the Ollie wants her on the block, and Renny agrees to say she wants Ollie on the block. Seriously?

So, at the PoV Ceremony, it goes down like this: Memphis takes himself off the block and Dan says he's a gambling sort and likes to have fun, so they are going to play a game he likes to call Replacement Nominee Roulette. Of the 4 he can put up, he wants them each to name who they want on the block. He stresses that they must be truthful and if someone tries to cop out and say they don't want to name someone else, he will put that person on the block. Michelle names Keesha, Ollie names Renny, Keesha names Michelle and Renny names Ollie. Dan then announces that every so often in the game you have to gamble, place your bets and take a risk, but that you better know who made the bet for you and in this case Ollie lost, so Michelle is on the block.

Which....what? How did that accomplish anything? Everyone got named by one person, so in the end all he did was prove that it was his decision. All his speech did was clarify that point, while also revealing that Ollie had played a hand in too - which everyone already knew anyway, but still. Nonsensical.

On the plus side, Ollie broke a light in the back yard in anger and Michelle threw a tantrum in the DR about being back doored by some one else's bad deal. So, at least stuff is happening! So, next up is the big double elimination - who do you think is going home? What alliances will split? Will paramedics need to be called?
